The left’s approach is to try to get you to ignore the problem until it’s there. Then they will sweep under the rug or say that it’s historically accurate. If they re-write all of history, it will keep the new generations ignorant.

No, because they're not being taught that at all, so they'll be fine.

So you're saying there was a part of the cartoon that specifically called for young protesters to riot and tear down statues?

They were between 10%-20% of the population in which probably 90% were engaged in manual labor how on earth did they provide most of the manual labor in the country at the time? You're right it ain't rocket surgery.

For much of the country (psst, check out the south) they were far more than 10-20% of the population.

So that means you are just talking the manual labor that built physical things. And you believe the major of the manual labor performed was done by slaves?

You mean the did and I missed it?

Or that you can't come up with an answer that would support the claim it was African slaves alone or even in the majority who build America.

The video mentions specific industries: cotton, tobacco, sugar cane.

I simply don't dismiss it, but since they didn't have to be paid it's a fair assumption.

The people who got paid to build it arnt asking for reparations for there generational off spring..they got to buy houses and leave them for their children, they got to send their grandkids to collage, etc.

This is something more than a cartoon, but you know that already since you have seen “The slaves built America” part.

Except the 9 year old girl that got the crap beat out of her by a 15 (basically a man) year old and punched 100s of times in the head with no regard for human life, most likely happened within 2 days of him watching the video in the OP
but no, nothing to see here right? I find your justifications for incitement of violence in CHILDREN cartoons to be most disturbing.
    SHAME!

"Disgusting?"-- LOL-- what part wasn't true?

First, it's a cartoon. Second, cartoon characters are supposed to represent people, not encyclopedias. People have opinions. The opinions represented here, are actually a fair representation of those of actual people, who advocate for Reparations; just as if the cartoon depicted people making the case for universal health care-- or for unrestricted 2nd Amendment rights, for that matter-- there is going to be a difference of opinion, among different people...What are you saying, that Disney characters can have no opinions that are not 100% accepted by everyone else? I guess that means they couldn't even have a character, encouraging others to wear masks, to help reduce the spread of Covid. IOW, your case is ridiculous.

Point #3, is that this opinion, of those characters, is fact-based. Black slaves worked here, at least as hard, if not harder, than most white people did, and were a much more significant part of our overall population, in this country's earlier history. While the characters' verbal equation, ending with simply slaves/blacks built America, does not include all the others who also built America, it is an undisputable fact that black slaves greatly helped build our nation. Are you so historically uninformed, so as to be disputing that?

Your association of the communication of those facts, with a desire to create (or even with a belief that this would, or should, cause) self-loathing in white people, is both telling, about your own attitude, as well as, on a more rational level, fantastically unfounded.

Lastly, it is unrealistic of you to hold cartoon characters, to giving well rounded depictions of history, if our schools have not even done so. The proof of this, is that you consider their citing of historical facts, as "propaganda," and Darth sees it as "disgusting." Think, for a moment: if these truths were part of a well-rounded, honest depiction of U.S. history, in grade school, then neither of you would find this at all shocking-- you could simply disagree, on the "Reparations" issue, on some other basis. But that black slaves contributed to the building of our country, through their exploitation, like it or not, is the truth.

And I find your allegations, to be most unfoundedly fictional. What proof of any connection to this video, can you provide? None, of course. And if it must be the cause, how, then do you explain any black violence against whites, prior to this highly influential cartoon?

Step two, if we are to accept your ludicrous premise, of blaming Disney, for this school bus fight, we would have to, in all consistency, look to all the causes, that led to hundreds of lynchings of black people, by white people, mostly in the South, up through the middle of the twentieth century. Then we should eliminate all those inciting factors, or treat them, however you would now advocate we treat this cartoon, and its makers.

Is there some part of those 2 things not having any relation to each other that difficult of a concept for you to understand? Because you seem to be having an immensely hard time getting that through your head.

No-- long story short: you apparently cannot grasp the meaning of any but very short stories.

In fact, not even those, since my reply to you, had been 1 sentence long, asking you simply, "what part wasn't true?"

So you are then supporting ignorance, since you believe (with no basis we have yet seen) that learning history, promotes violence?

Again if I'm more talented than the people they hire which isn't saying much then I'm not qualified for the job.
