That’s axtough question. My guess would be war with China if we defend Taiwan. If Biden turns out to be a paper tiger on the issue, which is likely, maybe that won’t be the tripwire. Since Biden has stayed around for two years, I think he will hang on for the rest of his term unless his mind goes completely. A nuclear war between Iran and Israel could be first if the crazy Muslin clerics think it will benefit them with their crazy fundamentalist fringe.
A conventional war with China can never be allowed to happen. There's way too many of them. Better to drop a medium sized asteroid on 'em from space and be done with it.
Attacking first gains China only a moral victory they can brag about until the lights go out in Beijing. Our nuclear submarines alone would be enough to wreak total devastation on them. Having millions of conscripts at the ready to send into battle all of a sudden doesn't matter.
Tell it to the Japanese. You don't think they'd have dropped nukes NYC or DC to win WWII if they'd had any? C'mon man get real.
Is this a wish list? Seems to me that this is one of the many reasons why the MAGA minions are dangerous. They are more than happy to bring about the apocalypse. That is the danger of having religious fanatics meddling in secular affairs.
What shocks me is how quickly we've moved from the Trump era fighting over mean tweets to getting into large scale killing, about 200,000 dead in Ukraine and possibly 400,000 disabled, without really thinking about it. The point of the opinions is to think about where we are going, and the 4th one - other - is to think about what we really want to do next.
No, Biden is dangerous because he exudes weakness which says to China, Iran and Russia,”Why don you see how far you can go before I do something?” (Especially when China and Russia have paid ME.) Biden is so weak, he’s pathetic. But Biden is a Democrat, and your little professors have taught you that is all you need to be called “competent” even when your leader is senile. I know because I was in class when this crap got started in the late 1960s and early ‘70s.
I voted 4 - Hell freezes over. This poll seems to me like another attempt - one of the at least 4039853045938373049 on this forum alone this year - to create panic among centrists and non-affiliated Americans, in order to convince them that a strong Republican government, preferably led by Trump, would be the best choice. Right now China is struggling to maintain a semblance of stability in the Middle East, to protect its economic interests in the region. The eastern giant is dependent on foreign investments and foreign know-how. A war, even a prosaic conventional one, would certainly make foreign investors run away. Also, China is heavily invested in North America and Europe. I'm quite sure that the Chinese leadership learned some lessons from the world's swift reaction to the Russian misadventures in Ukraine. Top Russian leaders probably understood by now that nuclear war would be worse for Russia than for their enemies. As for Biden's administration resignation...well, that's clearly gaslighting.
I agree , this is a push poll to fit the OP narrative. Russia is not going to war with US. Self preservation on both side with stop any kind of nuclear war. Putin is not a mad man like many like to believe. China will not go to war with USA. US will not go to any kind of convention war with China over Taiwan. Biden resign for what , to make MAGA people happy? Hell no!
The first 3 options made no sense beyond unsubstantiated fantasy, so I voted for 4: "Options 1-3 are complete nonsense."
You think we would have dropped nukes on Japan if they had nukes to launch in return? That's ****ing adorable.
That's how we won the war, we got nukes first because of real science and stuff. If you're one of those who hate us for defeating Japan and Germany in WWII speak up now.
I think it not unlikely Russia, China, or North Korea could provide the material for a terrorist grouping to build and detonate A small nuclear device or dirty bomb in a strategic world location massively damaging to the world economy in the U.S., Israel, France, or the Ukin thr not distant future.
Unclear. They entered the war with the US in an attempt to stop the US from interfering in their (rather nasty) colonial business within Asia. They hit Pearl Harbour, not the US mainland. Maybe they would have used a nuke to end the war, but it's a maybe. We know the US is prone to actually do it based on past actions. China has not attacked another nation in war that wasn't a direct neighbour for a very long time.
Nice to see the belief we have in freedom. Not all of them enjoy dominance, there is a sizable rebellion that can threaten the hold that dictatorship holds on his whole system. A Ukraine from the inside out.
With a blockade we could have crushed Japan; most off the materials to conduct war came from abroad. Dropping the nukes was more about Russia than Japan
After reading this post, I have to guess you were likey at the bottom of your class. I feel dumber having read it.
I could report you for the insult, but why bother? There is no question that Hunter Biden took payments from the Chinese, Russians and Ukrainians. The question is, was any of the money handed off to Joe? Every American should be concerned about that, but you party has instructed you to help stonewall it, so you are not interested. The FBI and the Justice Department have sat on the Biden laptop for two years. As for my stupidity, yes I was a dumb bunny during my freshman year because I was in the wrong major, engineering. That year I did get a “B” in my first political science course which was taught by a “radical professor” the University of Delaware who had been fired for being too radical. He probably let me in the course because I was a freshman engineering major. He was a good teacher and did not deserve to be fired. After changing my major to accounting, I did much better. I took close to a major in economics at the same time. I took another political science course on American Foreign Policy. That professor offered me an opportunity to do some research with him on the military industrial complex given my business background. Overall I was elected to the Bata Gamma Sigma society which the honors organization for business students. I also graduated near the top of my class when I got my MBA at Rutgers. Not bad for a knuckle dragger In recent years I have worked off most of the calluses off my knuckles from all the dragging in my youth. I am published author in hobby publications and actually get paid for my writing. Not many people can say that, but as a high functioning moron, I think I’ve done quite well.
