I don't like terrorism, either. But, that's all they've got. More importantly, the government of Palestine has worked to eliminate terrorism. The direction that Abbas has taken is one of insisting that negotiation is the ONLY legitimate approach. Therefore, he has cooperated with Israeli security forces in reducing terrorism and has applied to the UN and other institutions that show some likelihood of moving the situation toward peaceful resolution. His unity government required negotiation to be the ONLY direction, and he got Hamas to sign that and become minority members of his unity government. The unity government would have taken over important Hamas revenue streams such as the fees for border crossings and the unity government would become responsible for the aid and other programs that Gaza has in order to help civilians. That would have been a crushing blow to Hamas, as Hamas would no longer be well funded and would not be the entity working on the betterment of the people. Of course, Israel HATED that direction, and killed it.
This is just plain nonsense. And, you know it. You can't blockade a country (an act of war), steal their land and water rights, bulldoze their homes, and then suggest they are at fault for not having a thriving economy. Gaza would be wealthy if it had its rightful access to its petroleum reserves. Instead, Israelis shoot them if they fish their internationally recognized waters.
Gaza is NOT a country. Nobody steals Gazan's land ! What BS . Is that what they teach in Arab schools ? Gazans are ruled by a terrorist orginazation.. and by supporting Hamas you truly hate the Gazans. Next.
Please reread and note that I didn't say anything about Israel stealing land in Gaza. And, the country name is Palestine, not Gaza. Gaza is a region of Palestine. Please note that I have pointed out the problem of Israel blocking the formation of a unity government by Abbas, one of the few possible approaches to ending Hamas leadership in Gaza. BUT, Israel was opposed to that, and worked to make this solution fail. So, your accusation about me liking Hamas has NO founding. You should read my posts.
I googled the issue .. couldn't find a country called "Palestine". To my opinion Gaza is a region of Egypt. I wonder why Egyptians hate Gazans so much .. aren't them blood brothers ? Why Arabs hate Palestinians so much ? https://besacenter.org/do-arabs-hate-palestinians/
Re: I hitch hiked and walked around the Middle East for 10 - 11 months and saw no evidence of hatred toward the Palestinians . The most vitriolic hatred toward Palestinians is reflected in your innumerable defamatory comments. What have the long tormented Palestinian people done to you to fill you with so much nearly hysterical hatred? Thanks,
I do not believe you could possibly be that bad at googling. When I google "state of Palestine" I get 500,000,000 hits. Also, when the UN refers to Palestine, its documents read "state of Palestine" Also, Palestine has foreign relations with 140 states that recognize Palestine as a state. Also, your Israeli screed is preposterous political nonsense.
Actually if you Google "Palestine", this is the first result: "Palestine, officially the State of Palestine, is a state located in the Southern Levant, Western Asia. Wikipedia".
It's up to King Hussain ... but it seems he doesn't want it. We all know what his father did to the so called Palestinians
I understand your point but compulsory recruits to the Israel Army are only 18 and they have been indoctrinated by pro-Zionist, anti-Arab propaganda from birth. I lived in the US during the 1960s and I served in the American Army. As a 19-year-old I was sent to Vietnam. Most of us were 19. In fact, there was a young soldier on permanent guard duty at Oakland Army Terminal. That was where all soldiers passed through on the way to Asian duty stations. Anyway, he had his orders to go to Vietnam too but because he was 18 years old he was just pulling guard duty until his 19th. birthday. So I don't really understand what you are trying to say about the Palestinians whose country is in a perpetual state of war. Should they just lie down and let the Israel bulldozers roll over them? Nope. Help (in the form of Peace) is on the way:
Re: It's funny how apologists for Zionist ethnic cleansing curse Palestine's native residents when they defend themselves but make heroes out of those Jewish WW 2 resistance fighters who resisted a similar ethnic cleansing.
The Jews in the Warsaw ghetto were fighting against soldiers. Meanwhile Palestinians almost always target civilians. Hence the difference. If you want the world to support you, stop targeting civilians.
I know exactly what I'm talking about. The Jews were fighting against soldiers, to prevent their extermination. The Palestinians mostly target civilians, because their honor was injured. Massive difference.
First of all that isn't the subject but since you brought up another subject I'll remind you (or perhaps you will now hear it for the first time) the Palestinians have no army to stand toe to toe with against Israel's military forces. If you didn't already know that now is the time to reflect upon it. You might be too young to know what Intifa was so I'll tell you. It was the Palestinians throwing rocks ... yes all they had was rocks ... at the Israel Army. And now to the subject of "targeting civilians". Who should they target? Should they creep up in the night and throw rocks over the wall into the Air Force field? I that what the Zionists did at the King David Hotel? Hmmmmm? When you are ready to get back to tackle Hitler's prophetically correct predictions of the Jews let me know. By the way: The Palestinians are fighting against soldiers, to prevent their extermination.
The Palestinians keep targeting civilians. They will not receive support from the world as long as they continue to do that. And yes the terrorist acts committed by the Zionist before 1949 were despicable. You should never Target non-combatants when you claim to be fighting against oppression. Only soldiers and military infrastructure are legitimate targets. That's why for example Putin is clearly guilty of many war crimes as he has been targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure.
You've got it back to front. It is because the international community has ignored UN decisions on Palestinian rights and the UN itself too timid to enforce its own decisions that "The Palestinians keep targeting civilians". Who can blame them? I don't. The Zionists have shown themselves to be proud of their terrorist acts and they are not being held accountable for it. I see no reason at all to condemn the Palestinians for doing the same thing. Leave Putin out of it. Once again the standard has been established by the US Illegal assassinations, scores of illegal invasions & occupation of sovereign nations ..... with impunity. Why shouldn't Putin do the same? I see no reason at all to condemn him. Bring Israel and the US to justice first ..... then we'll talk about Palestine and Russia.
The Palestinians honor their terrorists by naming streets after them and calling them "martyrs". And they mostly target civilians. Their is no honor in such sick acts.
Palestine, including Gaza is denied targetable munitions by Israel. Israel shows no interest in the lives of civilians or their fundamental needs of water, power, sewer, healthcare, etc. Claiming Israel has some sort of moral superiority is unbelievable BS. There is nothing moral about their humanitarian atrocities in Palestine. Palestine has leadership that has promoted peaceful resolution for more than 20 years.
