Harm should be something that can be proven. Can you prove that a Drag Queen reading to kids is harmful? I cannot. Do you think bans should be based upon bias and prejudice? I do not. It frustrates me that the right preach freedom but fight to limit it to what they approve of. Again I see this as anti democratic.

It just blows me away that so many want to make laws and bans in the name of mitigating harm without first proving that harm was being caused. I hope those that do so do not call them small government conservatives.

That said I'm happy to use it when banning operations and hormones for minors because the "Do no harm" standard should absolutely be applied there and they have not proven a benefit with all those medical interventions. They are purely cosmetic. They are not for actual health concerns.

This law is no different than jaywalking or your neighbor blasting their music all night. If someone tries to perform in drag at a library you call the police, they show up and enforce the law. No big deal.

You’ve not provided a single shred of evidence that a single additional person will be hired to enforce this law. There’s no Department of Homeland Drag. There’s no 87k additional IRS agents to make sure you don’t do drag.
