Lol, wait, you actually think that all trials in US history have been jury trials . . . and there have been no bench decisions? Bwahahahaha!

Laughable at how this countries educational system has just bottomed out.
Hear ye hear ye, The 5th amendment is no longer applicable so no US courts will require anymore juries according to yardmeat as due process has been abolished.

The sudden interest in the constitution is refreshing. When one agrees, its in the constitution. When one disagrees, the constitution is translated.

All citizens are entitled to due process. Show me where that has happened. Waiting!

Hail Putin. He too dismisses his political opponents that can beat him this way.

They have nothing factual, but a lot of wishful thinking. ( which could result in fabricating "evidence" .

Sadly, it seems one is damned if he wins and damned if he loses. He is not going to go away . America is at a x roads and all because of ONE man. He will continue to interfere with the democratic process , whether in office or not.

How does marching to the Capitol and “fighting” or they will lose their country.

Were they seeking due process at the Capitol? What were they fighting?

It seems progressives absolutely feel the need to edit out my replies. Interesting in itself...

So now courts can just declare you guilty of a crime without due process or trial. How very progressive.

I wish it was just because of one man — this is because of an extreme ideology that he simply made popular to voice. This will continue after his bloated course is rotting in the ground unless we address the root issue.

You would have to ask them. Keep ignoring the due process facts.

I'm going to see how long it takes you to realize the irony of that sentence. Hint: "countries."

Hear ye, hear ye: Condor doesn't understand that this IS due process and that bench decisions exist and have always existed.

You are getting due process now.

    96 charges
    4 indictments
    2 bipartisan impeachments
    Removal from the primary

    How you are enjoying it

We will only get hypocrisy from both sides. On this issue, it appears that the will of voters is being circumvented by those previously claiming to oppose election interference and voter suppression.

The US Constitution mandates that in criminal prosecutions, the defendant facing accusations of criminal wrongdoing has the right to a jury trial in the district or state where the criminal offense allegedly occurred.

No judge, prosecutor, or even criminal defense lawyer can force you to waive your right to a trial by jury. It is your decision whether to waive your right to a jury.
But of course, you wouldn't know that, but I'm glad we got it on post by you.

This isn't a criminal prosecution. But of course, you wouldn't know that. But I'm glad we got it on post by you that you didn't comprehend it.

    First you tried to claim
Then when you got called out you tried to claim
Then when you got embarrassed at what you posted now it changed to
So now, insurrection isn't a criminal claim?

The ignorance lies in ignoring or denying that he had anything to do with the insurrection. By ignoring / denying it, one is passively endorsing what happened. That horrible day was and is a stain on the nation.

You think I care about Donald Trump. That would be your mistake.

How many convictions for Donald Trump related to January 6th?

If convicted, I would truly support him being removed. Without the conviction, it is just Putin.

Lol! Apparently under lefty law this:

    18 U.S. Code § 2383 - Rebellion or insurrection

...can now just be imposed willy nilly without a trial. They're not even pretending anymore.

Oh, you didn't hear? Listen to this claim
    Or even better, this one

This guy thinks judges can convict anyone of crimes, but when he got exposed it changed to insurrection is no longer a crime.

    PRICELESS

The ignorance of a panel of judges convicting a citizen of this country of something without a trial.

Convict him and I will support Colorado's actions. Without the conviction, nothing more than Putin acting in the United States.

WHAT ? CONVICTED ? How could they convict him if he failed ?

And I haven’t deemed anyone an Insurrectionist. That is up to the courts. Due process, or don’t you MAGA types remember or believe in due process that doesn’t go your way ?
