In spite of the multitude of flawed studies by David Reardon (faked credentials, fake "institute") and other anti-choice zealots, the American Cancer Society states: What is a more authoritative source than the American Cancer Society?
Another authoritative source: http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/factsheet/Risk/abortion-miscarriage Thanks, Kimaris.
Yea, but why have actual properly conducted studies that were seeking facts not fulfilling an agenda, when we can have otter's lies and misrepresentations?
But a vast left wing baby killing conspiracy makes more sense! Why would we want to believe something that is far more likely to be true?
Thank you Cady. This just proves that lifers will say and do anything they can to scare women into having babies.
In 1986, government scientists wrote a letter to the British journal Lancet and acknowledged that abortion is a cause of breast cancer. They wrote, "Induced abortion before first term pregnancy increases the risk of breast cancer." (Lancet, 2/22/86, p. 436)
According to the American Cancer Society: http://www.cancer.org/Cancer/BreastCancer/MoreInformation/is-abortion-linked-to-breast-cancer
Strange topic. Breast cancer is a piece of cake compared to what happens to that poor baby. Gotta wonder about women who are so gung-ho abortion. Must be some sorta mother gene missing in their makeup.
By "that poor baby" I am assuming you mean the aborted fetus. An aborted fetus feels no pain, has no brain with which to anticipate having a life or to wish to have a life, and so has lost nothing. Most women who have abortions go on to have children later when they are more able to care for them, so so much for the missing "mother gene." I doubt anyone is "so gung-ho abortion", or enthusiastic about it, but it does provide for a need and most people want them to remain legal.
An honest question. If they are addressing estrogen fed breast cancers how would they know what bump or decline triggers them over the long term?

Just can't see much difference in a 'fetus' which would more likely than not be able to live over 70 years... or a mother who's life is shortened by breast cancer so she only gets to live 50-60 years. Both seem rather tragic to me... and one of them is 100% preventable.
More falsehoods? Feels no pain? WRONG. Has no brain? WRONG. Being denied your unalienable right to life is a huge loss...but since you have already been born, it is easy for you to deny this basic right to another...
Ok Fannie yet again you lie about a fetus. A fetus does have a brain. Why straight up lie about it? Either that, or you simply don't realize a baby is considered a fetus from week 8 to birth. Which would mean you don't know what your talking about.
Really? When does it get one? Why are you lying? No it is not, but you can consider it so. Pot calling the kettle black.
It is beyond belief that the proabortionists will repeated lie about long-standing biological facts: Week 1-4 Neuron proliferation begins and is complete by 24 weeks. The process of neuronal migration begins at about the same time and tapers off by about the 30th week. (Karr-Morse, Robin, and Meredith S. Wiley. Ghosts from the Nursery. P 52-53. NY:Atlantic Monthly Press, 1997.) Week 2 By the 14th day, the tiny ball of multiplying cells begins to fold in on itself. This movement activates the genes in cells that will form the nervous system. (Ratey, John J., MD. A Users Guide to the Brain. P 23. NY:Vintage Books, 2002.) Week 3 Brain cells begin to work, multiplying more rapidly than other body cells. (Healy, Jane M., PhD. Your Childs Growing Mind. P 12-14. NYoubleday, 1987, 1989.) Three weeks after conception auditory neurons first appear. (Schwartz, Jeffrey M., MD, and Sharon Begley. The Mind & the Brain. P 124-125. NY:Regan Books, 2002.) At some stages 250,000 new neurons are formed every minute. (Brynie, Faith Hickman. 101 Questions Your Brain Has Asked About Itself But Couldnt Answer, Until Now. P 19-20. CT:Millbrook Press, 1998.) Week 4 The future brain and nervous system first become apparent when a portion of the outer ectoderm thickens to form a spoon-shaped structure only one cell thick known as the neural plate. A neural groove runs the length of the neural plate, dividing it into right and left halves. (Restak, Richard, MD. The Secret Life of the Brain. P 2. Washington D.C.:The Dana Press and Joseph Henry Press, 2001.) Week 5 The fetus moves arms and legs, turns and bends body, head and back. It gains muscle practice with little effort in the gravity-free environment. (Ludington-Hoe, Susan, PhD, with Susan K. Golant, MA. How to Have a Smarter Baby. P 16. NY:Bantam Books, 1985.) Week 6 The fetal auditory system is nearly complete. Every cell is influenced by the energy reflected in sound waves. (Pearsall, Paul, PhD. The Hearts Code. P 110. NY:Broadway Books, 1998.) Weeks 1-8 A period of great vulnerability to many types of drugs and to alcohol. (Karr-Morse, Robin, and Meredith S. Wiley. Ghosts from the Nursery. P 60. NY:Atlantic Monthly Press, 1997.) Week 8 The embryonic period lasts from implantation until about the 8th week of pregnancy. (Ornstein, Robert, PhD. The Roots of the Self. P. 36. NY:HarperCollins Publishing, 1995.) By the eighth week, the fetus will kick when poked. (Karr-Morse, Robin, and Meredith S. Wiley. Ghosts from the Nursery. P 52. NY:Atlantic Monthly Press, 1997.) By the eight week, the brain has developed its three parts. (Ratey, John J., MD. A Users Guide to the Brain. P 23. NY:Vintage Books, 2002.) By seven and a half to eight weeks the fetus is able to experience sensation when reflex responses to somatic stimuli begin. (Derbyshire, Stuart W. G., PhD. The Science and Politics of Fetal Pain.)
So are you disputing the statement that "(a fetus has) no brain with which to anticipate having a life or to wish to have a life..."? The fetus at 8 weeks (the time by which most abortions are performed) is having thoughts about its life, in your opinion?
Another troll on the left. Just to educate, a baby from week 8 to birth is given the term "fetus". Enter into a conversation where you actually know something about the subject, instead of flaming and trolling people.
A fetus doesn't have a working brain until quite late in gestation. Having a few brain cells doesn't qualify as having "a brain." I should use the term "zef" in order to be absolutely dead clear, sorry I goofed on that. So no more complaints about the term "zef", OK?
