...is Obama proving himself to be just another cog in the machine of the corporate mass media-controlled evil fascistic U.S.-Zionazi imperial empire?
Yes, and he's also causing terrorist attacks.......By using the veto power, the US is making a statement that they do not support the Palestanian people's right to form their own nation. This WILL cause attacks on both the US and Israel.
Interesting insights...another few questions: 1) who the (*)(*)(*)(*) actually thought he WOULD NOT block it, 2) why did you hold this delusion, and 3) how are you going to dismantle the corporate mass media-controlled evil fascistic U.S.-Zionazi imperial empire?
Obama thinks we can't jam Israel into a just peace.. Israel has to come to it freely. http://www.politicalforum.com/curre...onale-opposing-palestinian-statehood-bid.html
Israel is ran by a corrupt government that has several policies that make it a target. It has forced Palestinians famiies out of their homes so they can be repurposed for Israeli settlers and it's military has attacked unarmed civilians on several occasions....... They will not ever support giving up land to a Palestinians state.....
I'd say that he has already proven that. I'd like to see them gain state hood as other negotiations have failed for the last 60 years. Perhaps if the international community is more involved then we will see beneficial change for both countries because the current countries involved have brought none for Palestine.
That's because there are no such things as Palestinians. "Palestinians" are nothing more than Arabs from surrounding countries that have taken land away from the Jews. The Jews are rightfully fighting to keep what is theirs that is being stolen from them with the aid of politically correct rhetoric like what you're saying here. You Palestine supporters are so naive. You think that if the big, bad Jews would just stop being so greedy and Jewish, everybody in the middle east could play nicely together. Establish a recognized Palestinian state and see how much unrest it actually solves. There will be no more peace in that region than there is today. Because the Jews aren't the problem.
Was that before or after Obama insisted, and said he was not joking, about Israel being forced to return to its 1967 borders. (I think after)
I think you aren't taking into account Obama's remarks to Israel when he held a conference at the State Department in May. If you re-call his press conference, or even news stories on the matter, Obama stated for Israel to put returning to pre-1967 borders on the table. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/05/20/world/middleeast/20speech.html?pagewanted=all This gave the feeling that Obama was betraying a very influential part of his voter base, American Jews. As a result, he had to change his stance for partisan reasons, as well as diplomatic reasons. If Obama turned his back on Israel, both the United States and the Jewish homeland would have to fend for itself in the Middle East in a diplomatically and militarily. In essence, Obama has learned that the United States needs Israel, and Israel needs the United States.
I don't think Obama is capable of learning anything and he hasn't changed his stance. In fact, he's taken opportunity to clarify that he was very serious about Israel returning to its 1967 borders.
The move to being openly against a Palestinian state over recent months has shown that he has changed his stance. It is not an obvious change, but you can identify it.
