For the sake of discussion, let's say "Israel" (on a map) is defined as the original Israel plus all of the presently occupied territory. This definition is convenient because it allows us to say "Palestine" is everything else not shown on present-day maps as part of some other country, e.g., Jordan.

Now, we can get back to the original question: What was it that the UN considered for recognition as a State? Was it "everything else" (as defined above)? Did it include the occupied territory? Was it an organization that called itself "Palestine"? Why is this question so difficult to answer?

I am going to assume that TJ is referring to others whenever he talks about my post seeming to demonstrate this or that as well as when he uses terms semites, slurs, toilet-paper and the like. The rest is a ruddy waste of time.
