I have read that unlike us heterosexuals, gay people recruit. Well, I wanted to test that theory. I remember as a kid seeing Canadian Armed Forces on TV where they used to tag their recruitment advertisements with the message to find them under recruiting in the yellow pages. So, I went to Canada411.ca, which is a website run by the major phone companies here in Canada and searched their commercial section for recruiting. I did not get the results that I was expecting. http://canada411.yellowpages.ca/search/?stype=si&bn=false&what=recruiting&where=ottawa&x=0&y=0 I found that it was just a list of people seeking people for employment-related purposes. There were temp agencies, head hunters, the armed forces, trades people agencies etcetera, but no gay people. So, I'm thinking that maybe gays are just not effective in recruiting people into the lifestyle®, so instead they are just content with the fact that in the population a statistically significant number of people are gay... and that's that.
Correct. There are no official "gay" recruiters. What would anyone say is the definition of "homosexual" recruitment? (I'm asking anyone who reads the question.) There are average people that are homosexual, who have their heads on 'straight' (so to speak) who can and do on a regular basis explain and show homosexual people how they can accept themselves and live in a world they must often war against in certain ways. What I think many who aren't gay call recruitment, is the above; they'd rather a homosexual person spend their time in this life loathing themselves, feeling shameful and outright hating their very existence. They DO not like it when homosexual people accept themselves completely.
Nothing wrong (really) with being "gay" anyway. Let people be what they are or want to be, as long as they aren't hurting others.
I haven't seen any gay recruiters. Despite having gay family members, I still feel inclined to chase women with dark hair. Maybe they have failed at recruiting? Or maybe the gay recruiters are just another figment of the paranoid right wingers mind?
My philosophy exactly. On an individual basis, a person`s race, culture, sexual orientation etc. doesn`t even register on the list of preferred criteria. However, on a National basis, we have a duty to avoid creating the conditions for future racial and cultural tensions, but that`s another topic.
I think we can start with treating other people as we wish to be treated ourselves. All too often people GO AFTER those who are different than themselves. The irrational animus which stems from others being different, is something that all should be on-guard against. As long as others are doing no harm to people, then live and let live is the best policy.
do the heterosexuals show pics of their genitals and describe their talents? the answer is.............. no
I've seen more places on the internet where people of ALL genders show pics of their genitals than I can count. But anyone going there to see that is fine with me, as long as they are discrete and lawful about it. People like sex and porn, and if we found a way to actually STOP people from liking it... then we'd likely see a REAL threat to the earth's population. I'm in the military, and I KNOW that heterosexuals are as open, honest and egotistical about their "sexuality" as homosexuals.
id you watch to the end? They are absolutely appealing to 15 year olds--in their very own words. When you were 15--did you know who you were? Please. I didn't have an inkling until minimum 23.
Are you suggesting that everyone is as unaware of their sexual-orientation as you were at 14, 15 or 16... years old? I think guys (especially) tend to know what they like by age 13. I wasn't interested in relationships back then, but I knew what turned me on (and it wasn't females).
