Look how smug that officer is about it too. And I love how instead of backing down the students rise up and without a single violent move force the police to retreat.

ANd the fleabaggers are STILL guilty of trespassing, disturbing the peace, and disobeying a lawful order, etc.

no actually this is what those protestors want, they want to play victim by trying what they can to make police do such things. they were probably told to move a many times, given many warnings and since they are on property controlled by the campus and its administrators, if they want you out then you go.

this is a typical liberal bait tactic, and they only tape what suits their agenda so we dont get to see them being asked to leave a many times and them not complying.

gotta watch liberals, they will go to any extreme to bait you into attacking them somehow, they are very dirty players like the guy who punches you in a dog pile where it cant be seen.

Fleatards willingly break the law, and they expect the police to do nothing. That must be how it works in the liberal utopia fantasyland, because it doesn't work that way here.

Are you being purposely obtuse or have you been under a rock for 2 months? OWS. The biggest act of civil disobedience since the civil rights movement and the Vietnam protests. There will be entire books and movies written about these protests in the future.

This is true... they are baiting the cops and trying to escalate their movement. They want a new Kent State to happen, so that they can have an excuse to take this anarchy movement to the next level.

This locality is protesting massive tuition hikes after the Chancellor accepted an 85k raise in 2009 during the peak of the recession and makes 400k a year.

Tuition is WAY too high in America.

Yeah, you libs want so desperately to believe that this current fleabag movement is just like the 60's movements, which actually accomplished some worthwhile things like civil rights. OWS isn't going to do anything except push normal people closer to the right.

    ...in your dreams.

I don't watch TV. They are nearly nonexistent, trivial, a joke.

And the impact they do have will drag the supporting Dems down and drown them.

    America HATES these spoiled scumbags.

The civil rights movement was a movement that lasted around 13 years. It'll take time. But you've got to be an idiot to think nothing will come out of a nationwide protest with over a million participants and hundreds of million supporters all across the world.

Most Americans were not fans of the civil rights movement either. It doesn't matter. What matters is which group is more likely to show up to the polls. And the group with a million nationwide supporters is going to have a serious impact at the polls.

Except that most are too lazy to properly register, and will be stopped cold,as ACORN's bullcrap isn't going to be allowed this time around.
There'll be no illegals voting, phony provisional ballots counted without being vetted, etc.

I have hesitated to join the occupy movement. I have been in NYC for almost the entire time it has been going on, but I have only been to the very beginning of one OWS protest movement, and only because it started at NYU so was convenient for me. Now after seeing the disgusting moves by the government and by the cops, I am going to start actively participating. Not because I necessarily agree with all of their message, but because I believe in their right to spread that message through peaceful protests.
