The problem is that you do not understand the difference between a zygote and a child. What is worse is that you claim the zygote and child are the same but can not even explain how they are similar such that they should have the same rights.
It is actually your problem. I am not the one making the Claim that a zygote is a child. The onus is on you to support your claim.
Obviously the lawmakers in the US do not agree with you because abortion is legal in the early stages of pregnancy. In any case "appeal to lawmakers" is a logical fallacy. The fact that someone makes a law is not support for your claim that a zygote is a human unless you can show that there is support for your claim in the rational for making the law. My claim that you have no valid support for your claim that a zygote is a human stands.
So, what objection is there to advancing medical technologies which may render the medical procedure of abortion, obsolete in modern times?
we don't need more advance technologies, all we need is EDUCATION. "Don't get pregnant if you can't afford it or want it" could be one of the curricullums.
^this society is so failed, simple logical solutions like this one are deemed ridiculous by the mushbrains. make sex education a mandatory course before leaving each grade starting at puberty. just like math and science is required. so should sex ed. be required.
and the Netherlands probably doesn't demonize sex like Americans do. you see, we operate off a double standard in this country. everybody loves sex, that's a given, it's natural, but when you have a society that takes sex education out of schools so kids can understand it better and make bettter choices, but then flip it and allow abortions in lieu of education, you send a sick message to the kids. which leads to a blood thirsty sick society. life is cheap in America. in every way. but let me ask you, is sex education taught in the Netherlands? is sex demonized by the society?
Well at least you finally agree that the SCOTUS legislated from the bench. ACTUAL legislators are overwhelmingly on my side, OBVIOUSLY. Your silly little "logical fallacy" pet buzzword phrase just doesn't cut it junior. I merely pointed out that many legislators agree with me, not that this is the reason for the recognition that a fetus is a human being.
you're wrong. if they made better choices to keep from getting preganant in the first place then abortion is a last resort. but young females these days want to have the guy ejaculate inside them because now they have the back up plans of abortion and day after pill, so NO, they use abortions as their FIRST RESORT. because if they used their BRAINS they wouldn't get pregnant intentionally. the shots, pills, and procedures are there to tempt them to get pregnant., if you don't want it we can kill it. simple.. SICK
You are correct on both counts. It is SICK, and many women are using it as a first resort! This is evidenced by the sheer numbers of abortions being committed.
So true. I swear I see DOUBLE the number of pregnant teens nowadays than when I was a teen in the 80's, when Sex Ed. was still in schools. today you have Planned Parenthood and the teen pregnancy population skyrockets...coincidence? I think not it's a highschool about 2 blocks from my office and every single day I ride by that school I can count AT LEAST 2-3 different teen moms pushing baby carts...WTF?? SMDH in disbelief
Clearly lawmakers do not agree with you as abortion in the early term is legal in all states. Name one state where a woman choosing to have abortion in the early term is not legal ? "Obviously" lawmakers and legislators are not on your side.
Pushing baby carts ? That is really sad that highshool girls would choose to go through with a pregnancy, destroying many future opportunities they might have had, rather than have an abortion and move on with their lives. We really need to get better information to kids - teach them that in the early stages of pregnancy there is no "Baby, Child, Human being" such that terminating the pregnancy constitutes killing a human. It is sad that religious folks(for the most part) have taken it upon themselves to play God (despite abortion being commanded in the Bible) and fill these childrens minds with disinformation.
Why should it not be considered an obligation of the religious to abstain from secular ethics, instead of imposing religious morals via the coercive use of force of our secular State?
I don't disagree with you that education is beneficial, but advancing technologies could make it more convenient to practice prevention of the need for an abortion. Consider that abstinence is also taught as a form of education.
Well this is an interesting rant, but what society has done these things? Sex ed is still taught in nearly every AMerican school yet our abortion rate is ALARMING!!!
The simple mindedness here is alarming. The fact that they have decided to make abortion a legal homicide means nothing and disproves NONE of my points. Name why you think that is relevant in any way. ANother child left behind, Bush tried to warn us. Now we have pathetic non existent reading skills like this running around.
Well, as has been shown definitively, opposition to abortion is far broader than any religious group and actually includes people who state that they are not religious at all.
