Racism - Why Do So Many People Hate Black People?

I expect you have taught yourself to believe that. I should try something easier, like a flat earth: you are wasting energy.

 

I think it's a matter of provincialism, or something like that. If all you've ever seen are white people, black people probably look strange and unusual and a bit scary.

 

It doesn't surprise me that someone who apparently worships a professional wrestler has no idea what he's talking about. Posts like these are drive-by stupidity. EVERYONE in America dislikes black people or is distrustful of black people or doesn't want to be around black people. Not just whites. Of all the ethnic groups in America whites are likely the least racist towards blacks in a hostile way. If anything white racism towards blacks is in a collective belief, on the right and on the left, that blacks are too stupid, too incompetent, and too pitiful to feed, clothe, and shelter themselves.

You act as if racism is between whites and everyone who isn't white which is a liberal fiction. Asians outright hate black people and often consider them sub human people. You don't think this exists because you don't know any Asian families and because it isn't a liberal talking point. Instead you making silly claims like "whites are racist because black people are scary."

Yes, "scary" as in people will avoid black neighborhoods because they have a reputation, an earned reputation, for being so unpredictable and unhinged that they'll shoot a stranger dead to steal their sneakers and enough money to get a #4 at Burger King.

People of all nationalities are "racist" against black people because black people are the prevalent criminal and poverty and welfare class in every society they live in. It is the reason why blacks are always used in the racism arguments, on both sides of the issue, instead of Asians, Europeans, Arabs, etc.

 

Why are some people so ignorant of black "people" and racial differences? It's like they've never met a black "person" in their entire lives.

Nah, it's just a very small minority that doesn't like black people. Most of America outgrew such things a while back.

That tiny minority, though -- it's very vocal.

 

Well, people enjoy generalizing. It's not enough for some people to simply say that there is a segment of the black population that they dislike, they have to put them all in the same boat. It's unfortunate, but that's how it's been.

 

I hate blacks because

1. They hate me as proved by affirmative action

2. They are mentally inferior as proved by their huge academic failure rate here in america and by the fact that all of black africa is in the stone age. Blacks don't have the brains of whites/asians.

 

Well - you're wrong. Most minorities have benefited immensely from the brazen racism of affirmative action.

That criticism of self-identified groups like blacks (or any other group) should be outlawed?

That it is a shame people criticize blacks for their behavior? In America, blacks are but 1/8th the population yet they commit around half of all violent crime.

 

The number of blacks murdering whites is about a thousand times higher than the number of whites murdering blacks. But the "tv people" censor that fact.

 

You seem to be an expert on stupid posts - as your "EVERYONE in America... blah, blah, blah" clearly demonstrates, above. I would venture to guess that not even EVERYONE in America would dislike people that make idiotic statements like the one highlighted in the quote. Some moronic professional wrestler worshiper could probably be found in some trailer park somewhere that would say, "wow man - heavy thought, dude!"

So what is this moderator trying to advocate? Whoever posted this flowery thread must be living on another planet - I say this because whites are victimized by blacks 90% of the time and blacks are victimized by whites 10% of the time. This is even more astounding when you consider that whites outnumber blacks at least 6 to 1 in America.

This is the kinda thing that makes me wonder whether defenders of blacks must be violent, immoral, pro-crime, reprobates. There's no other explanation to it when you consider all the crime and destruction blacks cause.

That sounds a little far fetched, but I'm sure that you have stats to back up that claim. In any event, it would be far more revealing to do a study on how many violent crimes are committed by people receiving some sort of welfare, housing, or public assistance, regardless of race. It would be a more enlightening distinction as those blacks who apply themselves and don't accept handouts would certainly not be among those committing violent crimes.

Having lived as a minority white in a foreign country I have to agree that that is true in the US.

Just recently Owebama made the statement "A typical white person" in reference to his grandmother. That would NOT fly if a Perry, Paul or Gingrich had said it of a black person.

Not always. So many exceptions it's not even a rule. While nobody is born a racist, people naturally build characteristics that facilitate social injustice. Even people who joke about wanting free services (does that mean I get it free?) have no problem with the idea that people should offer their labors for no compensation i.e. slavery. And if slavery were institutionalized, it wouldn't bother them a lick if slavery were implemented along racial lines, as long as their race is not on the slavery side. We have racists and bigots all around us who merely await for the opportunity to manifest their cruel nature. This is why once the Nazi regime was established, plenty of people volunteered for the chance to impose immoral authority over others. Our friends and neighbors, many people we would call "good" are barbarians biding their time.

 

right. That's why there are no multi-millionaire black atheletes, businessmen, entertainers, journalists, politicians, etc.

 

Kids analyze behavior from a young age. They recognize other races from the start, however, it isn't until kids are approaching puberty before they segregate themselves in the lunchroom. High school lunchrooms are very telling, go to any "diverse" high schools with large minority populations and you will have a ball analyzing the group dynamics taking place during lunch hour. Blacks and Hispanics are very racially aware, they do most of the segregating themselves, without the help of white kids. I went to a very diverse high school with a non-white population of 30%+ so I have experience in these matters.
