Its going to be one of the races to really gauge the ability of the Republican Party to get back to Conservatism. Its gonna be a bell-weather. Just yesterday two state senators withdrew their earlier Crist endorsements, and gave them to Rubio. As Governor, Crist has had high popularity numbers throughout, as many moderate Dems are OK with him. But then he embraced all the bailout money too quickly, and it has become an anchor around his neck. Both Rubio and Crist outpoll the most likely Dem challenger, so its not like its shooting ourselves in the foot .... yet. I'll have to start a thread on it if there isn't one, then update it from time to time. As primaries go, it may be the most tell-tale one in the country heading into the Fall. Rubio is a young Reagan Conservative, who was 20+ points behind Crist just 3 months ago. Now he's even in the polls. We got LTC Allen and Rubio down here .... gotta love Florida. I'll be rooting for Lazio up there, but he's a long shot !

I do know you are serious, as are millions of Americans. Some degree of a civil disobedience response is getting more airplay now.

There is an upheaval coming. All indications are that the swing at the ballot box in 2010 will be historic. If it is not, we will face a bit of a quandary.

As an aside, it is really looking as if Crist won't even get the Repub Senate nomination down here, losing to an upstart but more pure Conservative, Marco Rubio. That was unheard of just 4 months ago. its a good sign. Jim

Got some real good news today from my buddy at the Tropical Shop in Waynesville..
he got the moontails in , and all 6 of them are healthy and vigorous studs...
he never lost power , and all his fish are ok & well...

4 of the moontails are somewhat a dominant blue in color.

1 of them is red.

1 of them is a purple / violet...

I told him to put the purple / violet back for me.. and the red , as well..

I may buy both of them...

When are they going to operate on your leg? Hope you get it done before Obamacare kicks in...you may not get it done...By the time you get your leg done if I don't catch another cold I should be ready to run a marathon...:mrgreen:

OH yeah I talked to one of my husbands best friends, he lives upstate n.y. and is moving back to Wichita in a couple months... will be nice to see him.... he is 100% new york ....lol....its a good thing.....

oH my lands...... thats is a lot of snow... I have been watching it on the news.... kinda....lol..... whe had a ice storm several years back that nocked out power to over half of the city and had to call in electic companys from all over u.s. to get us back up.... there were convoys of trucks.... so I hope you didnt loose power or anything it took us 10 days before anyone could get to us.....

I am so trying to snap out of it, I figured if I came on here more often it would keep my mind busy and up to date...lol... Hope everyone has a good christmas and I am going to do my best.....

Just thought I would stop in a for a few, and see how everyone is doing..... Decided to put a few christmas ornaments up. So will go get that done in a few. Have to do something for the kids.... especially the kiddo (grandson)......

He is running in a large black district. There are a lot of blacks living in that district. He sounds better than some of the blacks we have had coming out of Florida...ie Alcee Hastings, Corrine Brown...google those two.....there is another one and the name escapes me...
