Sorry I didn't answer earlier. The Oscars has only just finished here and so I didn't know anything and didn't want to have any knowledge of who won before I watched. I have seen the first 20 minutes of Slumdog but must watch the whole thing. I found it very confronting and since I had my baby don't cope well with things where children are in misery. But I understand it's a remarkable film, and want to watch it for sure.

What did you think of the ceremony? I thought it was the best Oscars in ten years. LOVED it.

All one can do is present the evidence, if others don't want to believe it that's their folly.
I've had people here argue about something that was stated by a politician, and they denied it was said even after I posted a video clip of the politician saying the exact thing.

I'd have to be racist, which I am not...what I am is a activist and a town crier against racism and bigotry. I don't believe everyone is a racist. I don't believe most people are racist. I believe racists are racist, as their words and actions continue to prove. You can tell, because they immediately go into "attack mode", when someone calls them on it. As far as accepting Jesus into my life, he has never left it. I grew up Episcopal, attended a boys choir school, and sang and celebrated Mass, 6 days out of 7 for 3 years. That's a whole lot of "church"....more than most folks around here have been exposed to. When I lost my mom in '89, I lost my mind and my will to live. Only by the grace of God, and the love of Jesus Christ, did I regain my senses, and my purpose. For you to assume otherwise is a supreme insult. Instead of asking questions, you assumed. I'm all right over here. Saturday night the smoke was quite bad, but it's since cleared. Most of the fires in the area are out, except for one burning in a town called Redesdale. Hopefully it won't get much closer.

Not so good mate, the weather is foul, -3% celcius at night and we had a big snow storm last night, this restricts me to staying in the house because of my leg!

Sure do! Every year we have an Oscars party where everyone has to dress up, black tie, and we do a questionnaire with the nominees, and the person who guesses the most wins their own Oscar at the end. It's a tradition!
