well I'm a true, blue american - pure and simple - what's that old saying? It's a nice place to visit, but you wouldn't want to leave there. LOL - no, I'm joking, hey, maybe someday, but I doubt it but I will continue to visit.

Thanks Jellah - you currently live in Sweden? I think I remember you posting or was it Switzerland? I'm Norwegian, born in the US though, but have visited Norway many times, so I know how the snow is, I know how beautiful it can be.

If you're around and you have time please check out the white privelege thread I started in Race Relations. A poster is suggesting that I should be banned for spamming.

This was Katies worst experience in a war zone. She has been to many such areas. This time with it envolving children she said took its toll on her for a few days. She was in afghanistan the first gulf war the second one. She was in Bosnia as well and several other places. I would not do her job for a second. Now she is heading back to Georgia. I would be running the opposite direction.

Kaite is fine. She went to Poland to work on a film. The crew went to Georgia and filmed the conflict there for the BBC. While she was in Poland she and her wife were looking into adoption. When in Georgia katie saw some nasty things. She rescues some children from a school that was hit by a shell of some sort.
They arrived back at Poland and she and her wife adopted a baby boy named Jerzy. The ywill take custody in 6 weeks. A picture of the infant is on a thread I made for her called My baby Jerzy Katiegrrl0 and wife. Katie and her wife are on there way back to the Black Sea and then onto T'Bilisi in Georgia at this moment they left a few hours ago from Warsaw.
