Theists are too easy to argue with. they have abandoned logic for faith. There are a few theists who can defend themselves well, but it is impossible to defend the illogical nature of man invented religion for too long.

Actually, I am not a liberal. I'm a realist. I'm a fiscal conservative and a social liberal. I am probably more liberal that Clinton on social issues but my ideology does not blind me to reality and pragmatic solutions that require critical thinking. When it comes to health care I just happen to agree with the liberals. I probably part company over the war in Afganistan and illegal immigration. I would say that I am in 100% agreement with most liberals on social issues.

I stood behind Bush for a few years in hopes that he was doing the right thing especially after 911 and I should have taken Kucinich and Kennedy more seriously regarding Iraq because they were right and I was wrong.

I often get mistaken for and labeled a liberal. That is a favorite tactic of the far righties who have no grasp of reality. What I like about liberals is that they usually debate honestly and are most often rational.

I feel that same way. i know she wanted never to be far from Del. almost there entire lives were as one. Alice just i guess could not see beyond that. i spoke to her the other day and she sounded down but this shocked me. Mia and i are still going on our trip. we talked about it. the family will hold the ashes until i return. i spoke to her brother and he said he had spoken with her about the time she took the pills, she said she was sad but would get over it. he was really rocked by this. he is a good guy. i feel so bad for him.

hi Mak. i am not going to France at this time. Alice's family is going. there is to be an autopsy. it appears from all evidence that she took way to many pills. her despair was more than any of us could ever know. i have been hit by a ton of bricks. i feel like a lost puppy.

yeah i will not post from the 4th to the 19th. i more than likely not post again until the 20th.

yeah i have a ban till the 3rd. i probably won't post there until i return from the safari on the 19th. maybe by than i will have cooled down. Del would have made a good mod. she would have been a socialist mod for them. she was even tempered and could for the most part get along with everyone on both sides of the fence.

i think about that and if she were already not feeling well or something she may have made some less than best decisions. i understand from Alice that the weeks that led to her passing she was rather cranky. i don't know but i have been fighting with mods since i have been there. from what i understand from a few people there they were going to ask Del to be a mod.

i just got banned at Debate Politics. oh well. they are so anal retentive over there. i have no idea how Del could have dealt with that. i have been posting over there on two threads and getting slammed at will with no recourse. the higher the post total over there the safer you are.
i made one peep about the mods not doing anything and got a warning then a second. then i just took them to task and got banned temporarily.

i will be back. i am going to lie down. i have a head ache.
