Which country do you think the Bagram base is in? Which country is the Taliban operating in (besides Pakistan)? Who do we need on our side in order to complete the Afghan successfully (besides Pakistan)? It's all well and good to go on about moral relativism or over-reacting to a mistake that led to burning a few books, but we have had years to realize how the average Afghan views things so why go out of our way to enrage him?

The truth is that when you are playing on the other guy's home field you have to accept some of his ground rules, and if you know some of his hot buttons you should take extra care not to push those buttons. From what I can discover (not much, unfortunately), due care and attention was far from present when the Korans were left mixed with other insurgent's belongings before they were burned. I'm sure they removed any weapons and anything that looked like it had intelligence value, so what would have been so hard about removing a few holy books?

Which is a good reason to get the (*)(*)(*)(*) out of that cesspool, and let these animals live as they choose.

Killing Americans over a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing book is not acceptable, and I have yet to hear any remorse from Karzai

I agree, we should get out of there and let the barbarians continue to kill each other, subjugate their women and children and continue to (*)(*)(*)(*) their sheep in the name of their false religion, islam.

Americans whinge about Muslims wanting to kill them, but what do they expect when their own people deliberately stir the (*)(*)(*)(*) by burning the Quran and insulting the religion of Islam?

People here are fine with an American burning a Quran, but what would your opinion be if a Muslim burned a Bible? All hell would break loose.

I disagree, muslims in muslim countries have burned chrisitan bibles and no riots or deaths have occurred here in the US. Hell Muslims have burn Americans, drug their bodies in the street, hung them off bridges and cut there heads off and no retaliation by Americans to muslims in the US have occurred.

Christians have modernized with the times unlike muslims who still live like it was the year 700.

Does anyone else get the feeling that Spock/Apuzzo and James Cessna are one in the same?

No, you are absolutely wrong, burn all you want, it's a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing book, and nothing more.

Kind of like how many Americans kill people for burning our flag, try none.

Hmm, you bombed Iraq pretty indiscriminately, as I recall. Remind us again how many hundreds of thousands of civilian deaths your 'precision' munitions caused with their 'surgical strikes'.

Iraq was the biggest, most embarrassingly inept military blunder of the 21st century. Iraq and Saddam were no threat to America or the world, he had no WMD and you wanted to 'make an example'? Were the hundreds of thousands of dead civilians bombed into vapour not enough for you?

Your post is so full of stupidity I don't know where to begin.

You really have trouble with this issue, don't you Billy? We know you hate Muslims-all of them-so why not just come right out and admit your bigotry and racism?

Are you calling me a racist? Why snake? Where have I indicated anything about race? Why do you lie?

The fact is, I hate that (*)(*)(*)(*)ing religion, and any religion that slaughters humans over a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing book. So why don't you come out and admit you could give a rat's ass about the death of humans over burning their precious book.

Has Karzai apologized or even indicated any remorse for the killing of innocent Americans? No, he hasn't said one word, so yes, (*)(*)(*)(*) that religion and anyone that believes in it, they are the cancer of this planet.

WHAT ... Ladies and Gentlemen ... you heard here ... a Conservative actully said Try to Stay Current.

BTW ... I agree ... those idiot will always look for a reason to Kill Americans and burning a Book is just a reason.

But the fact is ... We The United States of America are better than them. And I know it pisses them off when we take the High Road and they choose to take Gutter where they live.

I hope it was an accident and I hope the Military dost nothing to the people who burned the books.

    I agree ... it's only a F'ing Book.

We will see what these soldiers get, I would bet it will be something harsh to appease these pieces of (*)(*)(*)(*).

We are better than them, but allowing a cancer to chip away at humanity is not being better, it is being stupid.

If they did something wrong ... they should get punished.

If they did nothing wrong ... they should not get punished.

We are taught from birth ... that action have consequences.

Right, Wong or Indifferent ... that's what we're taught from Birth (or at least those of us who have responsible parents).

The apology was for a Consequence, we don't know the action yet.

People apologize for accident each and every day ... regardless of who is at fault.

BTW ... how many times a week do you years the Phrase; "I apologize if I offended anyone"? ... long before we know who is really responsible?

Since Obama is their commander in chief he is ultimately responsible and should be punished right along with his soldiers.

Let's say 4 Saturdays of community service picking up trash outside a mosque instead of playing golf as he usually does.

Is there a statute of limitation on lynchings? The last one in your 'civilised' and 'advanced' nation occurred in 1968. Aren't Christians wonderful?

I'd rather he said "so f***ing what". I get a bit tired of ol' limp wrist and his lame apologies.

No, christians are not wonderful. You and the rest of your left wad friends think I am some right wing christian nut you are mistaken. I equally condemn and hate any religion that kills in the name of their religion. It is a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing nightmare this planet has endured for too long from humans.
