Spock here. Logic suggest that Obama might know something that will guarantee him staying in office, despite the election.
Obama could declare martial law and simply not hold the elections. But that would mean ordering the OWS hippies to get really violent so that he would have an excuse to become Dear Leader for life. And at this point his re-election chances are good so he may take his chances with the voters instead.
Did you expect him to say he was going to lose the election? I'm sure I could never find a republican President running for re-election to say similar things. What do you think the chances are I can find something like that?
Didn't Newt brag about all the things he was going to do in his second term as President? He hasn't even got to a first term and has elected and re- elected himself.
Well Obama does have te liberal media as hsi re-election tems. And he has the union thugs,and the black panthers to make sure "order" is kept on the streets on election day So yea, he might assume he will win If voters do not buy any more food or gas betwen now and election day
