Its Yoga, so its probably good for baby in some way, but a tiny newborn? I would never handle a newborn like that!
That baby doesn't look real to me....looks like rubber. If it actually is real, that woman should be put in a psychiatric hospital.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaken_baby_syndrome But hey, it's yoga so it's like magic or something and so Hindu gods will protect the baby!
Why mak, because a yoga person says so? I'll take the word of medical people over people who practice an ancient meditation technique. I know you won't though.
That's not good for a baby of any age in any way, shape or form.... Did you listen to the medical people explain the damage it could cause the infant's brain that is still developing and shakes around inside the skull?
I never said it was good for a baby of that age. I would also assume there are laws in place to prevent this type of activity, but there don't seem to be any...
Actually, it does. Applying any centrifical force to a newborn's head can easily cause the lining of the brain to tear which in turn causes severe bleeding. What this woman is doing is incredibly stupid.
The thing I find most disturbing about this, is the mother's lack of realization that at any point she could lose her grip and drop the baby, or grip too tightly and potentially damage the baby's joints/bones/muscles. An epic parenting fail!
Yeah. My sister picked her 3 year old daughter up by her arms while they were playing and sprained her daughter's arm. That's way less force than a swing.
In general terms , Russia is miles ahead in terms of cures and medication -- personal observation plus some experience . I am no expert in this area but in the context of US brats there is very little chance of damage .
