    Ron Paul is leading Obama in the latest Rasmussen poll.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 26% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -16 (see trends). That’s the president’s lowest rating in over a month.
    Matchups between President Obama and GOP hopefuls shift along with the president’s Job Approval ratings. As a result, with the president’s overall approval ratings down six points since Valentine’s Day, the general election polling is looking weaker for the incumbent. It remains to be seen, of course, if this is merely statistical noise or a lasting change signaling that the president’s recent bounce in the polls has come to an end.
    For the first time since late December 2011, Mitt Romney leads the president in a hypothetical 2012 matchup. Romney earns 45% of the vote, while the president attracts support from 43%. Romney holds a nine-point advantage among unaffiliated voters.
    For the first time ever, Texas Congressman Ron Paul also leads the president. In that matchup, 43% prefer Paul and 41% Obama. Ten percent (10%) would vote for some other option, a figure that includes 17% of Republicans.
    If former Senator Rick Santorum is the Republican nominee, the president leads by two, 45% to 43%. With former House Speaker Newt Gingrich as his opponent, the president enjoys a 10-point lead, 49% to 39%.
    If you were a congressman or senator and over a billion dollars goes "missing" wouldn't you as an elected official conduct an investigation?
    I don't know what the election laws are as far as tallying votes in Maine so I can't say whether or not anything illegal was done or not.
    Come on guys, if we want this man to win we are gonna have to vote for the RP delegates or become delegates ourselves if need be! Check this out, it outlines the whole process (sorry if its been posted already):
    I just don't understand what it is about Ron Paul that's making him the underdog. He shouldn't be. He is more understanding and reasonable on every significant issue than all the other candidates!! Not only that, Paul is a compassionate human being..
    All the other candidates don't even come close. this is absurd...
    The fact that he is not a puppet of Israel has something to do with it.
    Don't know why you cannot understand that after 3 decades in congress and preaching about many good important issues. The majority of the public has grown tired of his droning on and on without producing even one result.
    Stirring words work for the naive or the young or those that never before paid attention. But those of us that have listened to Paul for all his career and have NOTHING to show for his "stirring" words have grown tired of the total lack of ANY result.
    He IS a 'pot stirrer' but he's never served up a single bowl of soup. Not even a taste.
    Lol i know. When you look at how crooked the other candidates are, how much they lie and seek profit in public office and serve themselves its shameful how Ron Paul is treated. The man has integrity and is straight up good people.
    When you see how much the media ignores him and how the establishment republicans have treeted his base and him it just shows how far our country has drifted away from liberty. The golden rule is shunned, peace and prosperity is ignored and hate and violence rule the day.
    there's a difference between being annoying and being right. Ron Paul is the only one telling the truth, while everyone else just keeps raining rhetoric about American jobs. Romney keeps preaching that he's worked in the private sector, but what has he demonstrated other than getting rich and joking about $10 thousand bets? Santorum doesn't have a clue, other than that he wants to "win." Obama's only chip is the recovery of the auto industry, for which he has done nothing other than throwing cash at it in the form of bailouts, at whose expense??
    Ron Paul actually understands the economy, and what caused the mortgage crisis of '08. He doesn't care about bipartisanship anymore than he does about the truth. It's funny that you call ron paul supporters naive, considering we're the only people with any common sense.
    There is no difference between no results and nothing. There is a reason that Paul has been and is below 20% approval, now 11.3%. That reason is failure. Some day you may learn that talk without results is meaningless. Look at the White House now.
    I love when people ignore matters of substance and vote with the masses. I don't care how right he is, if only 20% like him I aint wasting my vote.
    All Ron Paul does is talk. With all those congressman in the pocket of special interest instead of their constituents and the constitution it sure is a wonder nobody backs his agenda. It must mean he has a weak grasp on sound economics and civil rights.
    You know why he hasn't been able to produce any results? Because he was never in the position to make any difference other than press a button and vote yay or nay. RP has been preaching the same message for 30 years, and now that he has been proven true, people are still ignoring him.
    This makes absolutely no sense. It's politics, everybody is all talk right now. The only difference is that everyone except Ron Paul is talking BS.
    This is another unique trait of Paul supporters. They constantly infer that Ron Paul is the only honest candidate. Yet they conveniently forget that Paul was disengenuous about term limits, earmarks and the racism contained in his newsletter and he hasn't managed to successfully sponsor more than eight bills during his entire tenure in the Congress. They dismiss the political success of others calling it dishonest. Then they cap their argument by inferring that anyone who doesn't support Ron Paul is intellectually inferior.
    Of course they won't. They're convinced that Ron Paul will engage in some super secret vote manipulation and he'll pull delegates out of his wrinkled old ass. They're as crazy as that old goat roper himself.
    Before that happens pigs will fly. And again with the pointless insults. If you don't worship at the alter of Ron Paul then you're a constitution hating neo-con.
