and that's the odd beauty of the coming election. These political cartoons do quite a good job of portraying domestic moods in the U.S., yet we still see polls like the one the OP provides, which show little support for contenders seeking to remove the President. What's that say? Really... It's almost pathetic.

    Well, forget almost.

Too bad Ronald Reagan isn't running against Carter this year. Like that?

The truth is that Reagan's ashes could run better against Obama than the current crap of GOP candidates, Alzheimer's and all.

    Landslide. :nana:

Yes the Republicans have no one as good as Reagan to run. But then obama is a much worse failure than Carter was.

Carter was widely recognized as the worst president in history.

obama has moved Carter into a distant second place. obama IS, no contest, clearly the worst president in the history of the country.

National debt $15.4 TRILLION. LOWEST DEFICIT UNDER OBAMA $1,293.5 TRILLION. Unemployment above 8% for the longest period in the history of the country. Most people on welfare ever. Lowest participation in the workforce.

Seems I have time to spare. 4 3/4 years or so.

I'm not convinced. He inherited every one of those things from Bush, and though its taken time, YOU have to accept the fact that he's done more to turn the corner than any leader could have given the circumstance. Be honest. If McCain had won, we'd be in no different a situation, and there would be no way in hell you'd be out fighting for McCain to be replaced with someone like Hilary or Obama, if he'd run against him with JC as the incumbant. You are as partisan as it comes on this site, and you'd never dare give Obama the credit he's due. Give it a rest.

so on this "inheriited" excuse - a few facts on that

Who ran Congress for the last 2 years and spent the money

Their was a Sen Obama who voted for that spending as well

So Obama voted FOR what he "inheritied"

Dems has total control of the Hosue and Senate for the first 2 years of Obama's rule and the R's could do NOTHING to stop or hinder anything Dems wanted to do

So please stop acting like a child and trying to palm off responsibility for Obama's (and the Dems) terrible record and perfromance

I'm so freaking sick of this graphic. 85% of the bad stats in that flawed, idiotic, skewed picture happened in Obama's 1st 6 months, where not ONE of his policies or ideas had time to get enacted and start working.

If ONE of you liars on the right had the guts, I'd LOVE to see that same graphic created based on the last 24 months ONLY. Take out the first full year of Obama's presidency, and if you have the guts, take a realistic look at how much those numbers have IMPROVED during the Obama recovery after the horrendous, destructive Bush presidency.

Of course, you are all scared, sniveling partisans that would NEVER take a realistic look at the environment he's pulled us out of. A realistic look would tell you this.

Reagan and Bush destroyed our economic and political environment, Clinton brought us recovery and prosperity.

Bush 2 took that prosperity and turned it into the greatest American disaster since the Great Depression. Obama once again, looks like the right person to pull us out, just as Clinton did.

The right whines and cries and blames the doctor for their own bad physical behaviors and wreckless lifestyle, simply because the 8 VD's, rampant obesity and lung cancer they gave themselves haven't healed fast enough to their satisfaction. Get real.:angered:

Well lets look at current events

The number unemployed is up 1,292,000 as of Jan 2012. [BLS.GOV]

Unemployment rate is 8.3% still higher than when he started and still higher than his economic advisers projected it would be with the Stimulus.

Gas prices have hit $5.00 a gal. in some places and are well above $3.43 everywhere.

Misery index is 11.3, still higher than b.o. "INHERITED."

FOOD STAMP RECIPIENTS NOW APPROACH 50 MILLION

Health insurance premiums are higher than the list above.

    Home values are LOWER.

I don't know about Global competitiveness, but I see nothing being done to make us more competitive.

And Americans in poverty is now higher than on the chart above.

So you are correct, it IS 85% or more wrong. It is wildly optimistic and things have got even worse under the incompetent idiot obama.

Thanx for pointing out how bad things have gone downhill under b.o..
