Why does Obamas website Fight the Smears state his birth status was governed by the British Act of 1948, a foreign sovereignty statute? I find that kind of odd because you would think a U.S. Natural born Citizens birth status would by governed by the U.S. Instead of a foreign statute.

Maybe he was eligible for dual citizenship when he was born, but, no foreign statute would trump US law regarding an individual born here...

But being natural born means not having a foreign statute bestow your birth status right? I mean being natural jorn means that you have no outside statutory interference with your birth status in the U.S. That was always what I thought the founders intent originally was. You mention dual citizenship. Do you actually think.the founders wanted a future president with immediate part citizenship to a country we fought for our independence? When you look at it, its kind of common sense they would think.this way dont you think.

Tell me Mr. expert on everything Obama... we all know Obama has had his original birth certificate in his possession as late as in the late seventies - he said so in his bestselling book. So, why than the circus with flying his personal lawyer to Hawaii, getting a copy, scanning it... why not simply post a copy of his original birth certificate that he must still have? WAIT! he probably lost it! LoL, like most of his followers lost their minds

 

Because the little pieces of paper hospitals hand out witht he foot prints etc. are NOT official birth certificates, and won;t work if you are applying for passport, government clearances etc.

The requirement is for a CERTIFIED birth certificate from the authorities in the state where you were born, which means the STATE verifies your birth certificate.
