If Zimmerman sues, he has a lower threshold of proof required to make his case, but he will then be forced into what would be a civil trial of his actions. Do you really think Zimmerman has such a good case that he can afford to have the facts gone over time and again AND convince multiple juries they are sufficient to prove slander and libel? The worst case scenario for him would be if some defendant dug up some supposed witness or witnesses who shredded Zimmerman's version of events (remember, the onus is on Zimmerman to prove his case in this situation).

 

The HOA may have 7 figure liabilities because of Zimmerman.. even if Zimmerman walks.

In their February newsletter, they told residents to call George if they suspected trouble.. rather than law enforcement.

Technically the police didn't release Zimmerman; the prosecutor did. Zimmerman was in custody but he hadn't been booked. The prosecutor told the cops to let him walk and since the prosecutor wasn't going to prosecute the cops let him go.

 

Whatever you say. If the dude was black, and he just killed a rich white girl, you can rest assured that the black shooter would be in custody, and remain there. We all know it.
