Ann Romney: 'We Better Unzip Him And Let The Real Mitt Romney Out'
    The Huffington Post | By Luke Johnson | 04/ 3/2012 9:06 am

    Excerpts:

"Ann Romney, asked in an interview Monday if she has to defend her husband against charges that he is too "stiff," responded, "we better unzip him and let the real Mitt Romney out because he is not!"

"You know, it is so funny to me that that is the perception out there. Because he is funny, he is engaging, he is witty," she told Baltimore's WBAL, according to ABC News. "He is always playing jokes. When I met him as a teenager, he was the life of the party. And yet, he is also a very serious person and an accomplished person. And I think a lot of times, people see him in the debate setting."

Ann Romney is generally considered one of her husband's best assets, humanizing the sometimes awkward presidential candidate.”

    ......

Like, this gets better and better, folks...we could possibly have two dysfunctional people in the White House after the elections. I was kinda looking forward to Romney’s wife aiding him in achieving some semblance of warmth, compassion, and sincere dedication to serve the people of the country,, but it appears that Anne Romney is a “zipper freak.”

Do we, as a country recovering from a republican presidential fiasco, really want another so soon? Do we really want “to unzip Mitt and let the real Mitt Romney out” after being questioned about his ‘stiffness’? I say: “ABSOLUTELY NOT! This country is in enough trouble as it is now...

How does a potential First Lady err politically in so many ways? Ann, who has accounts thru Bain Capital including earnings from her husband's corporate raiding days, the Mormon Church investments, and showing her huge investments (now being sold) in online adult services, child trafficking, and sex slavery in one of the largest online services in the country, which have given her tremendous earnings.

She doesn’t even know she is wealthy but drives around in cadillacs, rides horses in shows, never held a job in her life, but appears not to question anything either....but she still thinks it is a really good idea to ‘unzip the real Mitt’....

Sorry Ann, just as your husband the 'stiff' corporate raider is not a good representative of America, you will never be a good specimen for First Lady in representing American womenhood. But hey...that’s ok cuz you are both out of this world!

If he is "too stiff", please don't unzip him.

And we have another thread of a liberal making fun of a stay at home mom calling her dysfunctional.

Agent obviously doesn't remember the "for the first time in my life I'm proud of America" comment from our dysfunctional first lady. I understand, though, Agent, for you functional is synonymous with socialist. So you are happy with the current occupants. America isn't.

Must be nice to be able to stay home and do nothing all day except shop for your third cadillac. After all the Romney's are "just like the average American."

No, it's an attack on Anne Romney specifically. They both claim to be "Average Americans" which they are clearly not...Unless of course average Americans are worth $200m.

So what if they are rich and successful? Romney did alot of things to earn himself that wealth. Its not as if he sat around and money just poured into his bank account.

He worked hard, worked many many hours, had to make alot of tough choices, and his wife, probably had alot of nights and weeks where Mitt was away and she was holding down the fort.

Just because you are rich doesn't mean you stop being a parent, a citizen or a hard worker.

I agree, its hardwork making money off trashing 10's of thousands of jobs being a corporate raider. Yes poor them and their "sleepless nights".

Mitt helped save many companies along with the Olympic games.

Ann battled breast cancer and MS. So please don't try to talk tough. She is tougher than you or Obama.

Yes, and that's after the first liberal suffered a big loss doing it. Liberals seem to be short on brains AND pride. :)

I think what they mean about being average is that they are not caught up thinking that they are intellectually superior to others. Or superior in any way but one. OBVIOUSLY they are financially superior. And they know that, and they know that YOU know that. But they don't think that having money makes them better. (maybe harder workers) :)

But what Liberals don't understand is that the point of life is to realize you aren't superior to ANYONE-

As soon as you feel superior, you aren't.

Truth is, we better hold an election, and let Obama out.

Romney would or will make an excellent President. Only those who don't want to, will fail to realize it.

Yes those poor companies...Not being able to rake in their billions without firing thousands, Thanks Mitt!

And Anne is quite lucky, and good for her my mother also beat breast cancer but treatments for lung cancer killed her heart...Then her.

I often wonder if she had had "rich mans" insurance would she have gotten the proper care she needed? Apparently Anne did.

The companies were going under, hence why they needed help from Bain Capital. Liberals truly have no idea about how businesses operate.

This post shows the true face of liberals in this country. "at any cost". you will demean and call out anyone in order to get Obama elected. Throw anyone under the bus and do whatever it takes. what a shame.

    .....

Well you can go tell that to the Romneys; meanwhile anyone whose husband is running for president who would say "We'd better unzip him and let the real Mitt Romney out"...is either severely sheltered, out-of-touch with the real world, or a real idiot. It was a hilarious choice of words and showed just how out-of-touch the Romneys are.

TMI about zippers! and it doesn't explain Romney's cagey, awkward, scared look about himself when onstage while his superPac was destroying his opponents while Romney was safely away from the action flip-flopping for dear life to get the nomination.

Indeed, why replace the current puppet who serves the banks, corporations and merchants of war with another puppet who would serve banks, corporations and merchants of war? That you think that your favored puppet, now in the White House, is warm, compassion and dedicated to service of the people is the sad part. I'll admit, he did a good job of selling himself to the tens of millions of dupes that voted for him with tears of hope in their eyes.

When there is very little of substance to separate the rulers and prospective rulers, one must rely on those sorts of attacks to make one ruler look better than the other.

What would make you think it would be any different with the Romneys? One of the first words out of one of Romney's sons was concerning the Obama 'birther' innuendoes from 3 1/2 years ago. The republicans have bashed Obama for 3 1/2 years...it's payback time, on their own level, which they understand.
