What a load of horse doodle. Women who work - most out of necessity - do BOTH jobs. They work an 8-hour day and then come home and do the cleaning, laundry, dinner, homework, baths, drive to and pick up kids from practice, go to ball games, miss work when their children are sick, take the children to doctors and dentist appointments and all the things stay-at-home moms do. If they DIDN'T work, they wouldn't be able to do most of these things for their children because they couldn't afford to. Most women who work do it to help provide a good standard of living for their families and to be able to send them to school - not just for the fun of it or because they want a "career".

I think in order to judge her for that remark, you would have to have grown up as a black woman in a black family and faced all the discrimination and problems that she faced simply because she was black. She had to work twice as hard and be twice as good because she was both black and a woman. (Like the Ginger Rogers analogy - she did everything Fred Astaire did except she did it backwards and in high heels and he still got all the credit.)

IIRC, her remark was "For the first time in my adult life, I'm TRULY proud of my country" and that was because for the first time in this country, people of all colors were coming together and judging a presidential candidate for his abilities rather than the color of his skin. I was proud of that, too. If I'd grown up in the black community, I probably wouldn't have been TRULY proud of the way I was treated in this country because of the color of my skin, either. I'm not TRULY proud of the way women have been historically treated in this country, either - especially since discrimination against women is once again raising its ugly head courtesy of Conservatives and Republicans.

It isn't hard to read between the lines and understand what's actually behind your need to denigrate the Obamas, but a family consisting of Harvard-educated parents who were world-traveled, politically and financially successful and living in a million dollar home before they came to the WH can hardly be described as "rednecks" aka "ghetto trash" which IMO is the true meaning of your insults. What they had before they came to the WH was a direct result of their work ethic and incentive to be successful and not the result of being born with silver spoons in their mouths and inheriting massive family fortunes. They have both overcome odds that the Bushes and the Romneys can't even imagine being confronted with and have EARNED the right to be where they are. Calling them "the Beverley Hillbillies" says a lot more about you than it does them.

Why is it whenever someone is dogging the intelligence of someone over the internet, they always make a spelling error. Must be karma or something.

Because posting online I don't really give a (*)(*)(*)(*) that my grammer is 100%. This isn't a legal document or a document for work.

Why is it the spelling police run rampant on forums?

Obama wanted this then denies it. Obama is a scum bag and wants to make Ann am issue because he fears she can hurt him

Notice the hate it brought out from the left

Visiting the White house 30+ times or almost once a month tells me she is close to Obama and his campaign

Yes. Drained of context all the comments about Michelle Obama and Ann Romney and they all seem the same, don't they. An honest person will admit Obama was never attacked for her work as a mother, however. Nice try.

I bet Anne Romney is just one of those Tammy Wynette "Stand by your man" women!

You know if a women isn't a Lesbian, it is alright for Democrats to rape, molest, etc.... they have little regard for women. Ask Bill Clinton.
