Mitt's had another bad week. Today "Lord of the Flies" followed by Mitt saying he's "fine" with gay adoption. Who's advising this guy? If they're being paid minimum wage, they're overpaid.

Mitt doesn't have a chance beating Obama. The repub leadership and major influencers already realize this.

So will they just hold their noses and let him get nominated or will they foment a groundswell at the convention to replace Mitt with someone else?

And if so, who would that be?

Guess that's why the Ragin Cajun said to the base. "What are you smoking, what are you Drinking, what are you snorting, what are you thinking?". This applies to the base that thinks Obama is a shoe in.

How quickly the democrats forget 2010 and the thumping they took. Mitt has a lot of room for error before he looks worse than Obama.

More comfort thinking, bud. Meanwhile, the repub leadership already knows Mitt's unelectable. Will they stand back and just let him sail to defeat because the known alternate candidate choices are even worse? Or do they have something else in mind?

Obama, Obama media and his pathetic drones are doing everything possible to steer the narrative towards social non-issues...

it simply amazes me that there are...

    A) people who are completely blind to it...
    B) people who are so heavily invested in this fraud and their collectivist agenda, they refuse to see it,
    and
    C) that this administration thinks so little of the collective intelligence of Americans, that they're openly assuming everyone is too stupid to see what they're doing.

This is barreling down the tracks towards being the biggest political bloodbath in American history.
I'm happy to be alive to witness it!!

It's reality, bud. Mitt's doomed. The repubs will probably lose the House, too. Which is actually an opportunity for them. They'll either re-enter the atmosphere of reality or perish out there on Planet K.

I wouldn't expect anything different from the ODS. See post #2.

Gee, everyone's ignoring our brilliant exchange, Hoosier.

Meanwhile, I'm convinced there will be maximum effort at Tampa to replace Mitt.

I posted this thread to explore whether Romney will survive Tampa. And what the consequences would be if Mitt does or doesn't.

Personally, I believe there's real prospect for a slug fest.

    What do you think?

Romney will be the nominee but as far as I am concerned, sending a message that at least 10% to 15% of the republican electorate agree with much more libertarian, anti-statist ideals is a good thing. There are always people that will vote for who they think the winner will be, then others that vote much more idealistically.

Even if all the improbable claims about Romney were 100% true, he'd still be far superior to the proven inept malevolence of Obama.

The issue is not Romney. The issue is Obama. The left and MSM are utterly unable to defend his policies so they attempt to deflect attention away.

Rest assured, the Tea Party knows about Obama's record and you can expect it to be front and center this fall.
