No, I don't recall saying anything like that in the post that you quoted. Please at least read posts before you respond to them. It was only a 2 line post.

By "decade's time", I mean decade into the future, not decade into the past. 2004 is ancient history. ;)

There was no law in Obamacare about free contraceptives that churches must provide. Now there is. You rant is not a good defense because the constitution and freedom of religion mean nothing to Obama and the democrats

If civil unions with all the benefits is not good enough it is about hate for Christians not benefits

No, inequality is not good enough, remember. It's about equal rights.

Civil unions with all the benefits is equal. Look at where gay marriage is legal they still do not have the same benefits.

I am a democrat... and I am religious. I call that last sentence of yours a lie. There is nothing about churches needing to provide free contraceptives now, nor has there ever been.

It requires that all insurances pay for contraceptive even insurances owned by or covering employees of churches. Since churches pay the tab on these insurances it means the churches themselves are paying to provide free contraceptive.

    Logically thought eludes liberals.

No, it isn't equal, anymore than having separate water fountains with equal flow for whites and blacks was equal.

Churches are congregations of faithful believers. Religious institutions can also be employers. No one is requiring the minister to hand out free contraceptives to the members of his flock. Churches are exempt from the rule from the outset. If the religious institution wants to run a non-profit business... like a college, let's say... and employ people who may or may not be members of their flock, they probably want to give those employees health insurance. The government classifies birth control as preventative care. One can hardly argue that point. It certainly prevents pregnancy which is an incredible expense to the employer, the employee and the health insurance company. Obamacare, in its effort to lessen the cost of healthcare in America, decided to stress preventative care and demand that insurance companies offer it... and the Obama administration has taken steps to make the insurance companies whole on the cost of those contraceptives so that they do NOT have to pass them on to employers, like churches, who would rather see an unwanted baby aborted than have a pregnancy prevented.

Actually... it doesn't. English grammar and composition obviously elude YOU, however.

Where in the constitution does the federal government have this power?! Isn't it the right of all Americans to pursue happiness? Do not many people get married for the sole purpose of being happy? You have no argument to support discrimination just like the whites had no arguments to support the discrimination of minorities in the early 1900s.

You want proof? You want proof of the SCOTUS case regarding separate but equal rights being unconstitutional? You DO live in America do you not?

Then you do not know church organizations like Hospitals and Universities have to provide insurance and Obama is forcing insurance to include birth control and abortion pills. This means the church insurance payments goes to pay for what church doctrine prohibits.

You miss the point. Too many Christians are fighting for their own "rights" but what they fail to realize is Obamacare violates ALL of our rights. Christian or otherwise.

This argument has no validity and no factual background. Also you are assuming it is impossible to be gay and Christian. It is not.

Churches have to provide health insurance. Since the insurance must no provide birth control that means the churches insurance payment goes to pay foe what is against church doctrine. Another words Obama has taken away freedom of religion

It does have validity when I proppse benefits be covered. That is not the case now where gay marriage is legal. You prove it is not about benefits but about revenge for your hate of Christians.

Gays can not be Christian. Continuing in sin willingly means you reject God. the Bible shows Homosexuality is sin and an abomination to God

There are plenty of Christian Churches that are LGBTQ-affirming.
