    Here's your new sig friend:

Under Clinton we got the 1st attack on the World Trade Center by pirates in dirty night-shirts and the Oklahoma bombing. Under Obama we got bin Laden because Bush water-boarded Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.

Plastic money? I have never seen one...Is Australia laminate each one of their money?

I have never thought about washing my money, unless, may be coins.

It's nice of you to worry about him, but I can assure you he's capable of taking care of himself. Anybody who's sorry enough to rob a blind man is a thief. Fortunately, very few shopkeepers are thieves. It's simply not a problem.

If your sister brought home a five, Mak... get a magnifying glass and look closely at the top of the Lincoln Memorial pictured opposite side of Lincoln. Every US State is carved into the memorial and you can see them on the bill. Amazing detail.

Each American bill has it's own special little quirks. The One is a virtual gallery of interesting pics.

Seversal years ago, while withdrawing money from the bank, the teller asked me how I wanted it. I paused, then said "in two dollar notes". She went to the vault and gave me 200 $2 notes. I think they're funny because where do you put one on a bank drawer? I had a ball spending those $2 bills.

You know jmpet, I've often wondered what cash register drawers from the mid-1800's looked like. Not only were there 1/2 cent, 2 cent, 3 cent, and 20 cent coins, but there were also 1/2 dimes and Nickels (which had the exact same monetary value as each other) to deal with. This is in addition to the regular cent (both large cent and small cent varities were in circulation), dime, quarter, dollar and gold coins to worry about as well. Oh, and to make it even more confusing there were 3 cent pieces made primarily of Nickel that were roughly the size of a dime, and also another silver 3 cent coin that was roughly the size of a half dime...LOL!

why are there more viruses for Windows operating systems than Apple's? because there's more machines running it. when Ozzie dollars become the world reserve currency, then NK will be counterfeiting your money.

No! No! You wouldn't get rid of the $2 bills! I save those too!

I forgot about the Susan B. Anthony coin - didn't like it, but love the big .50 cent coin. Have some, but not a lot yet....

Money sitting in a safe at a bank, etc isn't in circulation as they count it.

Blind groups in the US seem to think it's a rather large problem with blind people being ripped off quite a lot.

Woulden't the main banks hold every major currency not just the dollar?

In this view, it is hard to judge what is the most used currency. Since given peoples whims they may want Euros or pounds or Yen or dollars. etc....

As of December 2006, the euro surpassed the US dollar in the combined value of cash in circulation.

I never said it wasn't. However, the Australian dollar is hardly rare and it is harder to fake. I'm sorry if some Americans on here found that offensive for some weird reason.

No one counterfeits the US dollar bill. The US one hundred dollar bill is the world's most counterfeited currency. That's why the bill has been redesigned with beefed up anti-counterfeiting features.
