Heard about this the other day. Initially I was surprised. Definitely don't support the TSA getting more money. I don't support the TSA at all. With that said, I think the Democratic plan is much better than the Republican plan. The Democrats are increasing the fees on those who fly. The Republicans from my understanding want to simply get the money through taxes which I disagree with. Why should people who don't fly have to pay for the TSA? Flying isn't a necessity. Not a matter of life or death. There are other modes for transportation.
