Abortion rewards laziness and apathy, and punishes innocent life - abortion isn't pro-choice, it's anti-choice - the babies killed because the baby mommy was too lazy to use birth control or just not get knocked up don't have a choice in whether they get to live or not. Abortion is just taking life for profit and is a stain on society and has been regarded as this in many cultures, even those without a Christian background (like in Korea for example) - there's no way to defend it without just devaluating the worth of human life.
Abortion was criminalized in South Korea for the purpose of increasing the population to create (cannon fodder for) a powerful army.
Except it's not human life, in most cases, under Christian authority. So many (*)(*)(*)(*)ed fake Christians on this board.
For the record, I find abortion distasteful, but obviously it has its place. Women should have every right to control their own bodies, and if there are severe complications involved in a pregnancy, then it's something that obviously needs to be considered. We can't go too far in either direction, however, of banning or permitting it. Either way would be monstrous.
It is rather amusing. In Asian countries, abortion laws are more about national policies of trying to either increase or decrease the population, rather than any moral or religious reasons. China is performing forced abortions, while South Korea criminalized it.
Oh! Dear! Another one who has bought wholeheartedly into the myth that abortions are the lazy woman's contraceptive. BULL(*)(*)(*)(*)!! a) on behalf of womanhood everywhere - thanks for the compliment - I don't think b) Have you ever heard of contraceptive failure? No? well sorry mate but it is a fact of life and one that contributes greatly to the abortion rate c) why would anyone choose a surgical procedure, and usually a quite expensive surgical procedure over chapter options and finally d) why are not men equally to blame for inseminating these "too lazy to use contraception" women? There ARE such things as condoms you know - although probably the better option is just tie it in a knot
I like who most of them are men who never ever say word one about the MALE role in preventing abortion by ensuring that conception does not occur Somehow they do not think that it takes two to tango
Every woman who got an unwanted pregnancy wasn't using birth control, and she could have refused sex with the guy if he didn't have a condom.
But the baby will lose its life, the woman won't lose her life from giving birth to it - so why should the baby suffer just because the woman happened to have been raped?
I guess rape is not really a bad thing in your eyes? By the way you word your post, it seems as if you would shrug your shoulders if you heard a woman was violated. You cannot violate a woman all over again by making her have a baby. She comes first, its not like she chose to have sex.
Exactly. They wonder why they should have to help unwanted kids when they didn't give birth to them. They expect these kids to be cared for by someone else, anyone but them, and they don't want the number of unwanted kids to reduce by allowing abortions.
Gay couples could adopt the unwanted babies, but the same people who won't let the unwilling mothers abort won't let gays marry and adopt
How do you know they were not using birth control - did you do a personal review of all women having sex? Did you sit outside an abortion clinic with a pad and paper interviewing women?? http://www.guttmacher.org/pubs/fb_induced_abortion.html Learn http://www.youngwomenshealth.org/summarychart.html Before you get some poor girl pregnant through ignorance
In some cases, yes, but you are free to be lazy and apathetic in such cases. "punishes" doesnt make sense. Ends does. 1. The baby has no choice because it could never even comprehend what a choice is let alone make one, so that statement is wrong. 2. The "baby mommy" or mother as we tend to call them, does not have to be lazy or sleazy to need an abortion. The overwhelming majority are conducted for financial reasons and genuine accidents abounds. What "profit" is that? How is it a 'stain'? LOL! Actually human cultures have for thousands of years and across the world endorsed abortion - including the United States, which took little to no steps to outlaw the practice until the 19th century. Your ignorance is quite amusing. Christians have a long history of supporting and condoning abortion to varying degrees. Thomas Aquinas himself supported first term abortions, and the Catholic church didnt specifically outlaw the practice until the 1800s.
Do we factor in the fact that a lot of people still don't believe in contraception thanks to various religious sycophants. And therefore are reduced to either baby-making mishapen and hormonal machines or repressed prudes, scared to death of their own impulses and insanely jealous of others. Classic case of being "created" sick and "commanded" well.
birth controll can fail i just dont see how its bad i eat the remains of inocent life i kill inocent life with 6 to 8 leggs all the time an unborn human dosent seem to have a superior mind or more personality then a cow or pig and not geting pregnant in the 1st place would result in potential peapole never existing in the same way
