Obama promised to "transform America" and he's certainly made progress toward that goal. Never had a president who had close, long-time ties to domestic terrorists... but oh well, we're not supposed to care. Never had a president who constantly reminds us we're different like Barack does. Nearly every speech mentions Republicans... in fact, he's whined about the GOP since he took office. Boo friggin Hoo. We're paying him to lead Republicans too and if he can't handle the job, he needs to step aside and let a real leader take over.

All that to say... we've never had a president who tells such outrageous LIES... and we're not supposed to care. How many of you drooling Obama-lovers fell for his ponzi scheme claim of frugality? I ain't buying it and think he made himself look like a fool by going there.

President Obama: The Biggest Government Spender In World History
    Peter Ferrera -- June 14, 2012

The U.S. has never before had a President who thinks so little of the American people that he imagines he can win re-election running on the opposite of reality. But that is the reality of President Obama today.

Waving a planted press commentary, Obama recently claimed on the campaign stump, “federal spending since I took office has risen at the slowest pace of any President in almost 60 years.”

Peggy Noonan aptly summarized in last weekend’s Wall Street Journal the take away by the still holding majority of Americans living in the real world:

“There is, now, a house-of-cards feel about this administration. It became apparent some weeks ago when the President talked on the stump – where else? – about an essay by a fellow who said spending growth [under Obama] is actually lower than that of previous Presidents. This was startling to a lot of people, who looked into it and found the man had left out most spending from 2009, the first year of Mr. Obama’s Presidency. People sneered: The President was deliberately using a misleading argument to paint a false picture! But you know, why would he go out there waiving an article that could immediately be debunked? Maybe because he thought it was true. That’s more alarming, isn’t it, the idea that he knows so little about the effects of his own economic program that he thinks he really is a low spender.”

Every President for the past 60 years was the "biggest" spending President in World History. What's the big deal? Reagan almost tripled how much all the previous President's deficit spending combined.

Obama has raised spending by the lowest amount in almost the past 60 years.
Obama has decreased Government employment by the highest amount in the past 60 years.

Obama is by definition the biggest fiscal conservative we have had in 6 decades. You should love him!

The only people lying here are Republican's. But that's the norm with Repub's. They aren't really people of honesty and integrity.

It's that fiscal year thing that fooling you. If they give Bush the blame for spending in FY 2008-2009 (Oct 1, 2008-Sept 30 2009)... Obama comes out smelling like a rose. A big fake lying rose.

Again using percentage of growth is not an indication of spending. When you start at 1.5 trillion dollar deficits, the highest ever recorded, and continue them year after year, you will not show a large growth percentage. Some people just don't understand math.

Spending during Reagan's two terms (FY 1981-88 ) averaged 22.4% GDP, well above the 20.6% GDP average from 1971 to 2009.

Obama is is more than twice that.
