Um... it's a minor thing Romney did, as we won't be losing any allies over Olympic criticism. Odd, but nothing that will last beyond a week in most news cycles. Still funny, though.

 

No one objects to Obama taking necessary trips.

He visited Europe at taxpayer expense during the 2008 election and no one made a big stink about it.

But Obama and his America-hating wife take advantage of the taxpayers way too much.

Seriously? Do you honestly believe that? I guess that you've conveniently forgotten about the constant threads. I understand, it probably just sank into that epic right-wing memory hole that seems to have covered most of the past 10 years.

 

My thoughts exactly. Romney has already pulled off a successful Olympic games. Will the team behind London 2012 be able to make the same claim in 17 days? Time will tell. It's often best to simply let the results speak for you or at least wait until after the accomplishment has been achieved.

 

Apparently R$'s Britain-bashing is nothing new. From his book "No Apologies":

Obama is still a -170 favorite to win the election in Las Vegas....A $100 bet on Mittens will get you back $140.....One of your favorite conservative icons, Ann (*)(*)(*)(*)er got it right...."Romney will get the nomination, and he will LOSE".....I am anything but an "Obamabot" but the GOP couldn't have picked a worse candidate than Mittens....Even most conservatives are disgusted with him....He's a phony with the personality of a lukewarm bowl of oatmeal, and the manners of a goat....
