It may but you still have to convince everyone else. Good luck with selling that to the vast majority of the voting block.
You can't sell to the 90% of people that have been paying into SS and MC that your plan is to not give them their money when they retire. " Vote for me and I'll make sure you never see your money". This strategy is going to kill them if they focus on the Ryan budget as there primary platform from here to election day. It maybe one of the worst thought out plans Romney has come up with so far. I for the life of me can't figure out how he is screwing this up so bad. He should be 10 point ahead of Obama right now.
Who do Nazis ask to handle what they consider a problem? Oh right, the government, conservatives want smaller government on all fronts, the Nazis are a bunch of lefties, even if they vote for the right because they are misguided.... We might well take their votes, but they are the fools that do it, we've denounced them time and again, yet they fall on one side because they hate the other side even more...
Oddly, the least qualified person on Earth... Even a street slinger is better than the junkie, yet we got the junkie...
Maybe because there's something in you that has substance, unlike the hard core trolls on this forum. Or maybe I'm wrong about that.
I think I have proven my substance to you. When I first started this forum I told you that I would treat you respectfully and I have keep my word. I'm glad you are leaving your kids in a more secure position in life. I just didn't know what that had to do with what I posted.
I watched it live at 5am, AST, butch-avatar. You shouldn't allow the Obamedia to lie to you like that.
why do you always fixate on the petty crap? Obama made the exact same "gaff" when he introduced Biden as his VP in 2008. The grade school name calling may be in the vogue on the junior high playground but it just makes a poster look like a idiot in a adult discussion. It does not make one look clever, just immature and shallow
Romney needs to focus on Obama/Dem diversions from the issues as his campaign strategy ... better than the truth about Romney ... LOL.
well with sequestration and mr budget Ryan as the VP pick, I think the time for diversions are past. In one smooth move Romney just made Obama's biggest fear (the economy)the number one issue for the rest of the campaign, and in doing so energized the conservative base. I bet Biden is (*)(*)(*)(*)ting his pants thinking about the VP debate LOL
Since you don't have free universal healthcare, take it from a person who does! I am a Canadian! Our hospital wait times in emerge are standard 4 hours, we pay $300.00+ a year for our so called free health care, and don't get half as much as we used to. Not all care is provided. Not all care is covered. Most Doctors don't want to stay in Canada, they want the money, they move to the states. Doctors in Canada are told what they can earn. Healthcare in this country is at the mercy of the state level Government, and they have screwed us again! Stop living in a dream world. Stop fighting people that are trying to protect your way of life. Think it'll change when you get what you want? You have no idea! Don't pretend you know more! And indecently... if I tax a person, who makes $10,000.00 per year, 9%. I am receiving $900.00 a year from that person. If I tax a person who makes 100,000.00 per year 7%, I am receiving $7,000.00 a year from that person. If I tax a person who makes 1,000,000.00 per year 5%, I am receiving $50,000.00 a year from that person. If I tax a person who makes 100,000,000.00 per year 3%, I am receiving $3,000,000.00 a year from that person. If I tax Bill Gates: $61,000,000,000.00 per year 1.5%, I am receiving $915,000,000.00 a year from that person. (http://www.forbes.com/profile/bill-gates/) Who's paying more tax, vs who's paying more percentage...
You pick 'em, 1.) Mr "budget" Ryan. 2.) NO BUDGET EVER, obama. 2009 House [D], b.o. budget rejected. Senate [D], b.o. budget rejected. 2010 House {D], b.o. budget rejected. Senate [D], b.op. budget rejected. 2011 House [R] b.o. budget rejected. Senate [D], b.o. budget rejected. 2012 House [R], b.o. budget rejected. Senate [D], b.o. budget rejected.** **Actually rejected by vote in the [R] House. Rejected by being buried by the [D] senate. If obama wants, budget comments will become the favorites of R & R. you may choose not to like Ryan's budgets. But HE has got his budget passed by the House. NO Democrat or obama budget has been able to pass EITHER the House, OR, the Democrat controlled Senate. So let the budget comments continue!
Ryan will do a good job campaigning and present himself well, but it was a stupid choice. There was no need to make overtures to the far right (Obama already has them riled up enough) and if they needed someone to "shake things up" there were better options out there.
We decided that the last couple decades had enough political hacks who just kept on with 'business as usual' right off the cliff. Enough of the bull(*)(*)(*)(*) status quo that got us in this fine mess. Ryan (*)(*)(*)(*)s bigger and better than the entire Democrat Party combined.
I don't see how Romney can win. He doesn't have the black, Hispanic, Jewish, youth, unions workers, or the women's vote.(*) There are some in the conservative religious south base that wont vote this time around because they refuse to vote for a Mormon.(*) With his VP pick of Ryan he just alienated a voting block for Romney the elderly. They aren't going to vote for a party that want to take away the MC they have paid into. So there is another group not voting for Romney. (*) He can't use the bailouts or TARP agains Obama because Ryan signed off on it too and Romney said he would have just let all of those people lose there jobs (*)He can't go after Obamacare because his is the architect of Obamacare.(*) So basically his platform comes down to giving tax breaks to millionaires. All Obama has to say is " he doesn't want to give a tax break to the 95% of middle class workers that need it the most. He wants to give a tax break to the 5% of the richest people that don't need it. " people don't mind conservatives wanting to cut taxes but they do mind when they never cut taxes for anyone other then the rich. That is not going to work.(*) There is no way I can see Romney winning with all that is stacked against him.(*)
Since Ryan became chair of the House Budget committee, none of his budget proposals have passed muster either in the Senate. So, I would not go bragging about Obama's lack of budget porposals if I were you. What Romney has effectively done, in a nutshell, is create a stark contrast where a majority of the voters do not want either pick. That is not a good thing for this country and Romney nor Ryan will want to "compromise" on any budgetary issue. If Obama is smart, he will let R&R make all the statements about their policy and watch their poll numbers fall.
