    Except of course for the millennia of atrocities by the religious folk. At some point we have to stop playing these stupid finger pointing games and just admit that human nature sucks and nobody is perfect.

    People have freedom of choice though. If they want to have sex and have kids, that is their choice. Unless you think our country should be like CHina and discourage folks from having kids - which would encourage back alley abortions. So while in theory your idea seems fine, but in practical application it would require social engineering and mass abortion (which is genocide imo)...
