Most jews are democratic, so it's normal for their party acknowledge jerusalem as israel's capital.

Skip to around 1:50 in the video... The vote was a joke.

Two thirds? As in 66 vs 33? As in the yeas should be at least twice as loud? No way.
Is this an example of democracy in action? We'll give you the chance to vote on it and if you don't vote the way we want we'll do it anyway. If political parties can do this under the lights of public scrutiny then what hope is there when they make decisions in private?
Tragically funny...and Villaraigosa's attempt at mind control @ 2.12 is just funny.

Wow, there was definitely NOT 2/3rds majority there! You could see Villaraigosa looking around like, "Crap..... We need a yes vote or we'll take a political hit for this." He looks around, hoping to get a little help. He tries again. This time its even clearer about 50% of the people oppose the change. A woman leans in and says, "You gotta let them do what they're gonna do." He tries once more, and says its approved anyway.

    Wow.

Reminds me of Lincoln, "All the yeas say yea...." None speak. "All the nays say nay." The whole cabinet speaks. Lincoln says, "The ayes have it!"

    Only in America. Freedomland remember?

Anyway, its no big deal if the US agrees to Israel having Jerusalem as its capital.

It becomes a big deal when it wants it all to itself.

Arena full of democrats booing the inclusion of the word God in their platform, would make a good Romney ad.

Very true, the Republicans should quickly put out an ad emphasizing that.

Why? Americans care most about the separation if church and state. This issue is a boon for the Dems.

The DNC always looks like a joke and a mockery of democracy.

I think most people just ignore the historical meaning of that. Separation of Church and State is not REMOVAL of Church from state.

    GodTom,
not all Muslims helped or aided the Nazis, just as not all Jews and Christians aided, abetted and comforted the Nazis, though some prominent Zionist Jews, Financial Jews, Financial and Industrial Christians did give aid and comfort to the Nazis, such as the Warburgs, the Rothschilds, Prescott Bush, Carnegie, Ford and others.

To blanket-label an entire people is a far leap from reality, though you and those like you pay no heed to this fact.

I hope you were not planning on a career as a US political strategist. The optics of Democratic delegates booing god on live TV is not one of the convention's better moments for the Democrats. They better hope Obama knocks one out of the park with his speech tonight.

The Warburgs, the Rothschilds, Prescott Bush, Carnegie, Ford and I would add Rockefeller, did NOT aid and comfort the Nazis.

They financed and empowered the Nazis. Big difference. They financed Hitlers rise to power. They largely financed his war machine, during his build up to war. Same thing with Stalin in the USSR.

Wall-street financed the Bolshevik (communist) revolution of 1917 in Russia. The Tzar's of Russia were removed (and slaughtered) and Lenin was installed, with DIRECT financing and assistance from the banking cartel, the money trust. The Marxist-Leninist ideology then took root in the USSR. Again, without the bankers there would have been no communism. Research "Wall Street and Bolsheviks"...

You see, these shadowy figures have ALWAYS funded both sides, they always control both sides, because then victory for them is a guarantee.

But the truth of the matter is fairly simple. Hassan Al-Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Haj Amin Al-Husseini, Grand Mufti of Jerusalem DID collude with the Nazis. Al-Banna expressed admiration for Hitler on many occasions. Al-Husseini met with Hitler in 1941 and also condoned the extermination camps. They did setup and spread Nazi propaganda throughout the Middle east. Al-Husseini was paramount in the creation of the Waffen SS Handschar division, made up entirely of Muslims. A.Hitler and A.Eichmann both expressed their admiration of Islam. They both cited the fact that the promise of instantly going to heaven after participating in Jihad, caused them to become better fighters. They expressed disdain for Christianity because of its "turn the other cheek" teachings.

You see radical Islam was allied with the Nazis, there's no doubt about it. Islamo-fascism was allied with both Hitler and Mussolini of Italy. There's no escaping it.

Why do you think Hamas, Hezbollah and Fatah still perform the Nazi salute?

The hidden truth and the DARK truth that many do not want to speak off, but because I am not the type to selective choose what to believe in, I will say it anyway.

The majority of the movement for the liberation of Palestine is being pushed by people who are ideologically allied with the NAZI-ideology. The PLO has its roots in Nazi-collusion, there's no denying it. Yes the Zionists stole the land, but the truth is, majority of the movement to liberate Palestine has very little to do with Palestine and more to do with hatred of Jewry, and of course, a radicalized version of Islam that is hell bent of destroying the Jews.

This is just a single political party's convention. There is nothing binding. It's a big "Hurrah!" for the Dems and nothing more. The RNC had a convention a week or so ago, you know? They said stuff about things too. I think they mentioned Iran.

It was clear the decision had been made earlier. What a sad day for America.

No, it's just a party convention. If it's a sad day, it's a sad one for those that America doesn't like.

Hey, cheer up! If the Republicans win, then it's a screaming and running day for those America doesn't like.

I'm still unsure why everyone seems to think America is supposed to be nice. That baffles me. We are probably one of the most bloody nations in the history of the world and always have been.

We've not bothered to build pyramids of skulls from the citizens of cities we've murdered like Tamurlane...it wasn't budgeted and some of those skulls were radioactive, ya know?

    What an utter farce.

Not as much of a farce as this, mind you..

It was a joke. It was also a play.

They bundled both together in the same frame and then put it to a joke vote.

Apparently, the Democrats like to periodically impersonate the Republicans.
