And if you'll notice that I said you can be outraged about the racism and the rape, or does your compassion and sympathy only extend to one victim at a time?
How many threads have I brought up the racism in PF? Many. Look at every single racist thread that certain smiley people have initiated and you'll see me all over it. I think racism is disgusting, but a woman was raped and you're okay with losing sight of the harm done to an individual who was scared, brutally assaulted, potentially given a life-threatening disease because a few dicks on here like theheretic who speaks for NO ONE but himself made a comment that was unpc. You can be equally outraged, but I guess you are not.
Maybe you missed the fact that someone was brutally raped and told she had a life threatening disease, but please...make this about politics or my lack of noting the unpc comment of someone I have on ignore.
Maybe the difference between racist conservatives and the rest of the world is reading comprehension.
3link, I see you as a normal human being. Why do you only care that the OP who is well-known for being a troll said something racist and don't care about the victimized woman who was attacked, beaten, tortured and frightened by the fact that she could have AIDS? Do you truly not see the difference in priorities? One is a word said by a man you know is an agitator, one is a physical act of harm done to someone who was out of her mind with fright, humiliation, hurt, and sadness.
Here's your first post: Call me crazy, but you're talking skin color in both of the first sentences. You mention rape, but you don't give your stance on it. By your logic, since you're not denouncing it, you're not against it. ^ See?
The incident is horrific and justice should be served, (it should have been served when it happened....). Do you think the OP was posting this for the rape only?
He was oppressed, and should get more welfare, so he doesn't have to be forced into a lifestyle of crime.
I've had him on ignore since the thread where he was calling women sluts on the sex before marriage thread. Regardless, I don't care why he posted what he posted. The topic is rape and everyone has ignored the woman to make this about politics--on both sides of the political aisle. Someone was raped. To use the brutality against her to score political points rapes her again.
I understand completely, I was addressing the hypocrisy the OP has shown, which was why I asked if you think he posted it solely on the factor of rape.
I see two victims here, the oppressed black man, and the victim of the rape, the white woman. If republicans would increase welfare to the oppressed communities, poor men would be less inclined to become rapists, because they see women as an outlet for their anger. So all in all, I blame republican or conservative lawmakers, for ruining two lives here, the oppressed black man who will serve a life sentence for rape, since that is a liberal state who treats those crimes aggressively, and the woman because she will have PTSD from this incident.
And I would ask...why is the hypocrisy more important that her rape? We have a problem with priorities in America if this is the case.
it isn't. it however creates a void where the frustration and anger is blunted by the fact that if it was any other poster who posted the article, then you would see more outrage and condemnation for the rape. most posters here see who the OP is, then they merely go about their business because they are aware of his posting history and assume that it is just another "down with negroes" post, like another infamous user here.
Stop trying to reason to either side. The majority of both just have an agenda. The righties want to make the issue the rapists skin color, and the leftists are harping on the idiotic legitimate rape statement. Neither really cares about the victim here.
Don't put this off on me because you made the immoral decision to focus on partisan politics over the human experience. Go deal with your own conscience.
