Why do liberals all rush to vindicate muslim rioters?

Especially since 9/11 all over the internet American liberals have made it clear where their sympathies lie, and it's with Muslims over their own American culture which has always been heavily dominated by other religions and beliefs.

Go on any message board and the moment you post ANYTHING negative about Islam, the resident liberals will rush in and start their defense, usually ending up claiming that Christianity is just as bad or worse.

What I believe is at the heart of this endless defense is, and to put it bluntly, is that true American liberals simply do not love their own country and culture, and always look for ways to take a shot at it.

 

Why do conservatives make stupid generalization like these.

 

There is a good reason Colonial rule of the middle east lasted well into the 20th century. They are proving it right now. Only having brutal dictators kept them in line since then. Not all but most of the population there are uneducated people that aren't capable of rational thinking, but think only with their emotions. Closer to Homo Erectus than to Homo Sapien.

I think that they have this idea that everyone will play nice or they are afraid to stand up for what is right. It is hard sometimes to do what is right and not retaliate when we are wronged.

No, you shouldn't. What you should do is look at the fact that it's the only report of Muhammed having sex with a child (assuming the fact that almost everyone in history accepted mid-teens as adults), that he was married to her in a political marriage and that confirmation of the marriage required consumation, and that Aisha (the child in question) became the Mother of Believers and possibly the most influential woman in Muslim history.

What is annoying about the "Muhammed is a paedophile" refrain is that those using it have no intention of looking at Muhammed or Islam in anything approaching a balanced context; they want to dismiss and degrade the religion of Islam and feel the repetition of the phrase "Muhammed was a paedophile" is a good way to go about it. I don't see you go on about the repeated massacres and mass rapes mentioned in the Old Testament as proof that the prophets and people of Judaism are intrinsicly evil and worthy of unreasoning dismissal.
