He shoved ACA down their throats without any input. And he and Pelosi told us we'd have to wait until it was passed to find out what's in it. Well, people are finding out now, and they don't like any better than they did before it was passed by one party.

A new survey shows Mitt Romney with a commanding lead over President Barack Obama among doctors, with Obamacare helping to sway their votes.
If the election were held today, 55 percent of physicians reported they would vote for Romney while just 36 percent support Obama, according to a survey released by Jackson & Coker, a division of Jackson Healthcare, the third largest health care staffing company in the United StatesFifteen percent of respondents said they were switching their vote from Obama in 2008 to Romney in 2012. The top reasons cited for this change was the Affordable Care Act and the failure to address tort reform.Leadership style, failure to follow through on campaign promises, unemployment and the general state of the economy were also factors.“Doctors are highly motivated this year to have their voice heard, particularly after passage of the Affordable Care Act,” said Sandy Garrett, president of Jackson & Coker. “No doubt, the health care law has stirred many passions in the medical community.”

Clearly anyone that is not about themselves, but about what is best for the country and health care would be against Barack Obama.

Not surprising. Doctors love the current healthcare system in America since they make an absolute fortune off it. Never mind they would still be very well off in Obamacare...

"The latest polls show Romney is holding onto a 20-percentage-point lead among white men, who have broken heavily for GOP presidential candidates for decades, although his advantage is down from 24 points last month"

In a profession dominated by white men the polling is the same as that of white men.

It's an amazing thing that there is an idiot in this thread that doesn't get the content of what you just posted. Doublethink lives.

    72% of Dr.s are male. 56% are white.(22% unknown or didn't answer) and 38% are over 55.

In other words, the demographics of the typical Dr. is one that will vote for Romney by a large margin.

Drawing conclusions as to what this means in relation to the ACA, as the article does, is a fallacy.

Can't say that I'm shocked that the link to the actual survey, including methods, wasn't linked.

"This survey was conducted online from September 11 to September 28, 2012. A total of 3,660 respondents completed the survey. The error range for this survey at the 95 percent confidence level is +/- 1.6 percent."

An online survey by a health care staffing company?

    Lol, what a joke.

It seems that the smartest among us have chosen Romney. Now we know the rest of the nation will follow suit.

Romney is going to win, the leftist spin on polls etc is just bs.

    Really?

I would say that for Romney to ONLY get slightly over HALF of a wealthy special interest like doctors who will PERSONALLY benefit ENORMOUSLY from Romney's MASSIVE tax reductions for the RICH is a sigh of Romney's ABJECT FAILURE!

If doctors HATED Obamacare, we should see a FAR higher percentage to be swayed towards Romney

Who cares what these doctors think. They're all rich and evil. They need more taxes and regulations on them so they can provide less care and services.

OMG the endorsement of the doctors should be the last thing a President or candidate wants. They are just out to preserve medicine as a way to be uber wealthy at the expense of the american peoples health and economic well being.
