Poor People shouldn't be allowed to VOTE!

    Would that fantasy world include every liberal's view that the top 1% of wage earners or the wealthy are screwing the the lower classes, and are not paying their fair share?

    the same can be said if they decide to limit your gun rights if you don't serve in the military....voluntarily of course.

    Look man, I'm trying to get the government out of my life, not find ways to increase the oversight of it.

    Abraham Lincoln was a Republican, and the last time I checked the Uniion defeated the Confederacy...and in addition JFK and LBJ initiated the Vietnam War...

    Nope, bad argument. The government has the constitutional authority to initiate the draft. It has no constitutional authority to give away free stuff paid for by the taxpayer. No one has a right to own a gun, just keep and bear guns that are actually owned.

    What about people retired on their savings and stocks? They don't pay payroll taxes either but like Social Security retirees pay taxes on cars, homes, groceries. Perhaps their income is protected by a special savings plan like IRAs or tax shelters. Should these people not vote?
