When you are so all over the place, have no real plan of your own, and are grasping at any straw that you think can somehow spin your direction .. these things happen. Is Romney so stupid that he thinks you can make a valid comparison of military strength based on the the number of ships in 1918 verses the number of ships now ? I don't think so, but he keeps saying the stupidest things. Now the raging masses do not get most of it. For example, most will not put together the idea that: Romney "the Business candidate" does not seem to understand that after 1) Stock market crash (dow 14,000 to 6500), 2) Housing market crash 3) Revenues dropping from 2.7 down to 2.1 Trillion 4) a financial system meltdown (credit markets freezing) 5) 1.4 Trillion dollar deficit ... there are going to be some job losses over a long period of time. The Titanic does not turn on a dime. The momentum of job losses after the above events happening simultaneously is massive. As Clinton (the only fiscal conservative we have had in office since before Reagan) stated .. no one could put out the fires on the ship in a year or two nevermind get it turned around and sailing under full power. If you are going self declare yourself the business candidate, then I expect you to show some intelligence with regards to the serious economic issues facing us. I do not expect Romney to praise Obama for stabilizing the ship ... but I at least expect him to show a basic understanding of the economic issues.
I'm not sure Romney relates to himself at times! First, he would have to decide for himself who he really is! There seem to be some confusion there, or could it be multiple personality disorder?
President Romney-------------get used to it libs, you are going to be saying it for the next 8 years. The obama era of tax and spend is over.
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2012/10/22/krauthammer_romney_won_unequivocally_obamas_responses_were_petty.html Charles tells it as it is....
I fell asleep around China, so I had to check the transcripts, and used the NPR one. So where is that at?
It is important to note that presidential debates cannot be scored like, say, the debates from a high-school debating team might be scored. In presidential debates, it is not a matter of which candidate can rack up more debating points. Rather, it is a matter of which can win over undecided voters. In this regard, I believe President Obama failed. The president needed either a strong gotcha or some help from Gov. Romney, by the latter's committing a major gaffe. Neither happened. So I would adjudge it to be a practical victory for Gov. Romney, since the president failed to reverse Romney's apparent momentum.
Obama wiped the floor with Mitt last night. Absolutley crushed him. I dont even know how ANYONE can HONESTLY say that Romney won. I guess some people really are willing to go down with a sinking ship just based on party loyalty.
My opinion is that Obama won, but not a knockout. He actually hurt himself in the end by saying that the rich should pay a little more to help finance things. I don't agree with Romney's tax plan, but Obama saying this was just pandering to his base, something he shouldn't have been doing in a debate. It probably turned off some Independents.
"Syria is Iran's only ally in the Arab world. It's their route to the sea." -- Mitt Romney Back in reality, Iran borders the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman, meaning Iran already has a route to the sea. And Iran doesn't border Syria, making it rather difficult for Iran to go overland through Syria to reach the sea. Does Romney even know where Iran is?
This will play out exactly like the VP debate, and the last debate. Because Obama didn't get his clocked cleaned like the first debate the left will claim victory, run around spinning their tires on their victory lap and then when Obama continues to slide wonder "what the (*)(*)(*)(*) happened."
OMFG you really have to have drank all the kool-aid to believe that. The only thing Ostupid ever saved is his own ass and he's loosing that now too.
http://www.forbes.com/sites/susanad...third-presidential-debate-commentary-roundup/ In other words, Obama by a moderate amount. I personally thought it was a little closer, but the guy who wrote it supports Obama so...
From another website, a poster penned the following words: I think this sums up the matter very well...
Name the last Republican president who didn't tax and spend us further into huge debt...What makes you think that Romney will be any different? This guy changes his policy decisions more than he changes his underwear...Romney will lose and hopefully never be heard from again....Ryan is a bigger joke than Palin...The GOP voters nominated a couple of turds....Get ready for a big let down champ...
Actually she's right, and in the passed 12 years the Republicans have consistently shown they're inept as a major party. Romney's campaign has been an embarrassment to his party, just as the Bush Administration and the Republican lead congress.
Historical ignorance is not a good excuse for supporting Romney (was the GOP that got us in this hole and the "libs" that were trying to prevent further digging of the hole) Just look at deficits .. Since Reagan .. GOP Presidents (Reagan, Bush I, Bush II) increased deficits .. Dem Presidents (Clinton, Obama) have reduced them. Womever wins this election is definately losing the next one. The hard economic times experienced over the last 4 years are nothing compared to the inevitable hardship over the next 4 years .. regardless of who wins.
What I do not endorse is increasing the deficit. The fact is that the GOP since Reagan have increased deficits while every Democrat has decreased them .. including Obama. As a fiscal conservative .. Im voting for Obama because there is no such thing as "fiscal conservative" in the GOP.
Okay. . .show me! But please use REAL facts, not Limbaugh or Coulter, or Fox News delusions. By the way, before you engage in a long, painful search, you may want to look at the newly released "world opinion" on our two presidential candidates!
