Because I believe you're an attorney? You've never mentioned law school so I assumed you were an apprentice.

So you took out an ARM, which is a form of subprime lending that you JUST COMPLAINED ABOUT IN THIS THREAD, then lost the house when it adjusted (as...you know, an adjustable rate mortgage is wont to do), and NOW you're complaining about it?!

    This is hilarious.

I've mentioned law school several times on this forum. I attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.

I can't say what I want to say because I would get warned or banned. But you are a very nasty person and my guess is you have an unhappy marriage and your kids hate you.

According to the moderators on this site, I'm not allowed to call you an idiot.

But, I do want to let you know that I AM thinking it.

Hey man, you paid the stupid tax. Unfortunately for you, you won't acknowledge that you made such big mistakes, and you have instead chosen to blame it on the government. This will insure that you pay the stupid tax over and over again throughout your life. It's sad, really.

Montoya the space cadet, sounds about right...

The only people who are better off than they were for years ago are government workers and the rest of us can't afford to pay you any more.

Classy response...lawyer talking like that? Yeah right....

I'm much better off, my girlfriend now works at Apple and makes more then double what she made last year and I am still employed (programmer for a small game company) and make nearly double what I was making 4 years ago. And about to refinance a house in Boston. Though it's hard as hell now with how the banks clamped down. All in the mooching lazy people city called San Francisco, go figure.

This thread demonstrates how utterly detached from the "little guy" these progressives really are. The small businessman and woman are suffering out there and these stooges try and tell us we're doing better? Lord I hope they eject these elitist nuts from power. They are beyond the pale!

Bankers are, the top 1% are, but everyone else on the whole is not.

The money which has "disappeared" from the working and middle classes, has not disappeared at all, it was vaccumed up by banks and the global elite.

People like Romney are doing fine, thankyouverymuch.

And rightwingers express that people are poor because of bad choices in life. It appears you've made a few bad choices yourself.

I wouldn't expect to be better off. When Obama took office the U.S. had just plunged into a deep economic recession and times were going to be rough regardless of who was President. The real question should be: how good a job did Barack do with the economic hand he was dealt and to what degree was he handcuffed by the Republicans in Congress? Your answer to that question is probably what you should base your vote on; I still haven't decided myself who to vote for.

Public employment is the one sector that HASN'T rebounded at all and continues to get cut. Thanks for trying though.

I am much better off than 4 years ago, which is why I voted for Obama.
I am also certain that letting the lying right-wing extremists back into power would be a disaster for all Americans, so I was doubly determined to vote against them.
Romney is an amoral, flip-flopping liar who doesn't give a rat's ass about the average American, and his sidekick is a lunatic fringe type who would throw over half of Americans under the bus just for the ideological fun of it.

^^^ This. I agree that we are in a somewhat recovery..albeit a slow one. Obama has not done a good job at speeding up the progression of the recovery and some of his policies are actually having a negative effect on the recovery (i.e. - add a block, take two away...add two blocks, take one away kinda deal)

Myself, yes I am better than I was 4 years ago. Mainly due to the fact that I plan on what could happen in the future and adjust for those possible changes...

Personally, I think both Obama and Romney will not do much at all in the ways of speeding up our recovery and restoring our civil liberties...which is why neither will get my vote...
