War has been a part of human existence even before we were human. You will never abolish war, wether it be Political, Economical, Social or Physical warfare. Anyone who thinks otherwise is to idealistic to understand reality. This is what happens when we allow women to run society. We go from rational based realistic thinking, to idealistic emotional rhetoric.

 

I'm talking about Obama's assassination of American citizens without a trial.

 

Hamas claims they were collaborators. They could just as easily be demonstrators opposed to Hamas' tactics.

Israel's as well as our own (American) extrajudicial executions. They also sleep through the quiet changes being made to our laws to permit all sorts of warrantless tapping and spying, as well as arrests and imprisonment without due process. For now, terrorism is the magic word. How long before that bit is dropped and it simply applies to the entire apathetic population?

 

Too bad all the great thinkers and doers of liberal idealism--whose end goal is to achieve peace on earth through international institutions, disarmament, and capitalism--are men. Kant, Keohane, Nye, Cobden, Wilson...all males.

 

Blaming all of womankind for pacifism and liberal idealism is an emotional argument. And it inherently degrades men because it assumes that all males are warlike creatures ready to pounce.

Especially considering that the people who formulated democratic and capitalist peace theory are males.

Unfortunately for you, female heads of state have realist intentions and engage in war when it arises, such as "the Iron Lady" Maggie Thatcher and Ci Xi. Meantime heads of state like Grover Cleveland insist on never engaging in war.

Yesterday Hamas’s deputy politburo chief, Mousa Abu Marzook, posted a message on Facebook condemning the killings, and demanding that those behind the act be tried.
