I've never heard the Democrats say that the dead should vote or that people should get more than one vote, however I agree that both sides are (*)(*)(*)(*)ed up when it comes to voting (thus gerymandering, etc). That said the Republicans have been the ones saying we should remove peoples rights, the Democrats have not to my knowledge said so.

As for denying the military the right to vote, care to link that? I know things have been (*)(*)(*)(*)ed up in the past however there have been changes to better ensure military members overseas can get their votes in early enough to count.

I think your racism is getting in the way of "welfare". According to the Department of Commerce, 4.3 million American's are on welfare... 38.8% of recipients of welfare are white. The highest is 39.8% black.

So even if all the minorities on welfare were stripped from their voting rights and assuming that every single one of them voted... Obama still would have won. I think people get confused about "entitlements". The greatest entitlement in the world is social security... and that has nothing to do with "welfare recipients". You guys lost because you are crazy, not because of people on welfare.

Actually i do agree with speed on this one. Usually he is a racist (*)(*)(*), but if someone isnt working, and is in no way stopped by any handicaps of getting a job, being retired would be one, and is taking money from the government should not be allowed to vote. The only thing wrong with that is we are the land of the free. And in some cases its not a persons fault if they cant find a job.

 

We already have that, it's called "Citizens United".

 

As i said earlier, people with a felony record are not allowed to vote in many states. So don't give us that universal suffrage crap. We have never had that.
