I wonder if Bill Clinton will say anything. They're good friends, despite a nasty 1992 election that showed just how biased the media can be. 90% of newspaper headlines on the economy were negative a month before the election. 1 month after, only 14% were negative. A PBS documentary released last year said Clinton took office during a recession, even though the recession had been over for 19 months and recovery during the last year was quite strong. The last quarter of 1992 produced a 4.8% GDP growth rate described as "robust".

    Bush 41 shouldn't have been a 1 term proposition.

Little doubt that ignorance is alive and thriving here of the PF.

The majority of the folks, in this great country, are good, caring and loving people. I'm confident that people like you and those you are trying to describe are few and far between. Thank God for that.

It's projection. He wants to feel less bad about the fact that he'd celebrate is Obama was shot tonight.

It's especially sad for a president not because their life is worth more but because they touch the lives of more people and more people will be mourning them.

Why add an exclamation point in the thread title? Just curious. An exclamation point typically denotes excitement.

No it denotes exclamation (hence the name)

    ex·cla·ma·tion/ˌekskləˈmāSHən/
    Noun:
A sudden cry or remark, esp. expressing surprise, anger, or pain.

I suppose no punctuation would have been more appropriate but I type too fast to think about appropriate. I just punctuate. And a with news this shocking a period wasn't my instinct.

I am certainly no fan of the Bush family, but I do hope Bush Sr. a full recovery. Sorry if I can't believe any of the faux sympathy and regards coming from lefties. These are the same people that were marching around with posters comparing his son to Adolf Hitler, and wanting his son tried as a war criminal. No offense, but no amount of wishing well from the lefties towards Bush Sr. will ever cover up what vicious, hateful sick minded sacks of **** they really are.

It's not irrational to ask. It's just that... well, we know you.

    6/10, would bang.

Good to hear he's stabilized. The man was the last republican to live in the reality-based community.
