Being poor does not mean you are stupid, staying poor means you are. I was raised in a 4 room tar paper shack in the heart of Appalachia so you don't get much more poor than that. I pulled myself out of poverty not because I was any smarter than my peers, I just worked harder and took the harder road than some of friends and relatives. I could have laid around sucking up welfare but I wanted more than life than that. So you really can't fault me if I look down on people who make poor life decisions over and over and then criticize those who do not. Got one cousin who is a well to do attorney, another who is a CFO of a fortune 500 company, and a couple still sucking on the government teat living in poverty. I don't envy the ones who were more successful and I don't have any pity for the ones who chose a life of poverty.

No. Republicans put her on mainstream television when they ran her as the vice presidential candidate.....

After her many public faulterings during and eventual loss of the 2008 election, the only mainstream television she appeared on was Fox News, again put there by the republicans.

This really isn't that complex so I don't know why it's so hard for you to follow.

Cool story bro. That doesn't change the fact that the only reply you could come up with was calling people poor and admitting to looking down on them for it, despite having zero evidence to even suggest you were correct about your assumptions.

You don't know what your talking about. In his supposed error he insinuated (to the willing imagination of some) that the continental U.S. was made of 58 states an Hawaii and Alaska would make 60.

He said that his campaign took him to 57 states so far, with one more to go, and that he didn't go to Hawaii or Alaska.

To argue that this dialog is a statement on the number of States in the Union, as opposed to how many states he's been to on the campaign so far is really a stretch that tells more about the people reporting the statement than it does about the President.

once again I have no problem with someone being poor, it is just the ones who make poor life decisions and stay poor then envy those who do not I have issues with. Might want to work on your reading comprehension there. I am not sure how much plainer I can make it than that. Most of the posts here that criticize Palin just seem to be class envy and juvenile jealousy because she was so popular and successful

I certainly wouldn't say "most" criticize her sucssess and are envious of it. In fact I don't see anyone In This thread who meets that criteria. I, like the vast majority of her critics, criticize her for her actions and her words. I couldn't care less abou her money. Though I suppose it is much easier for her supporters to just assume that everyone is just super jelly of her wealth than admit she has flaws.

well I have voted for the Constitutionalist candidate the last 3 elections so I would not call myself her supporter, but find it hilarious that people call her dumb just because she does not speak like a elitist snob when the woman took herself from a middle class back ground to becoming a multimillionaire. She is dumb like a fox

If you think the Republican party is led by various corporate and lobbying interests then you're worse than Palin.

She certainly isn't "dumb". She was smart enough to know that she could make far more money by not being directly in politics. She managed to get drolls of people to watch her on tv and buy her books and fund her bus tours while having to intention of returning to political office.

She was however woefully uninformed and ignorant about subjects that a person in a top political office of the most powerful country in the world is expected to know. She showed this very clearly during the 2008 election.

She's fine where she is. Writing books and making TV. She does not belong in a top leadership role.

Well, yeah, but Lady SaPa turned just a partial term before she quit as governor of a state whose population is smaller than Detroit's into a lucrative show biz career.

I seriously doubt that Obama can similarly finesse his two terms as President of the United States into stepping stones to the status of another Gallagher or Carrot Top as she did!

That's what I thought. You have no real accomplishment except running for office. I do find it interesting that the way has been paved for him at Harvard and in Illinois. He was elected because of scandals in Illinois. The media played their favorite role of king maker by being opponent slayers.

Ike warned us of the Military–industrial complex. I'm warning the people of the Progressive-Media complex. No surer way to tyranny has ever been invented.

Do you have any comments about the actual topic if this thread or are you just going to keep jerking it to Obama bashing?

as opposed to liberal "news " reporters and hollywood celebrities who want you to think they are experts on everything from guns, to energy and shape the public's opinions 24/7 and tell you who you should be voting for?

I'm sorry, I fail to see how that has anything to do with anything i just said. Reporters and celebrities were not running for the VP of the United States. Palin alone is reponsible for her words and actions and their consequences.

But I guess if you have no actual response to my post you can just go ahead and blame the "lamestream media".

Sarah was truly a breath of fresh air and her anti-establishment positions made her incredibly hated amongst liberals who are dependents on the establishment for their very survival. Perhaps she should have taken a route on how to educate liberals on how they could stop being parasites and how to quit thieving for the children's future. Perhaps she will yet, there is still a lot of fight in that woman and I for one am grateful for her contribution to our country.

She helped start OWS and those fools didn't even know it.

What does that have to do with the words and actions of Palin? All I see here is pointing the finger somewhere else.

Does this mean the left will finally quit with their constant fussing and fretting over her? It would be nice. It gets old after awhile whenever she does the most miniscule thing and sends all of them into a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) fit over nothing.

Another "Let's bash Palin" thread, huh? Well, it has been awhile. Any reliable source that says she was 'dumped' from FNC? Maybe it ws thru mutual agreement or m/b there was a time frame on the contract? You don't know....

You mentioned Palin's 'arrogance'? How was she 'arrogant'? She had 'few credentials'? Did you ever read her resume as governor? Do I think she would have made a good VP or possible POTUS? I have no clue, but I'll tell ya one thing - she sure as hell couldn't possibly be any worse than Joe Biden.......

I have never seen a politician AND her family take such a vicious beating as Palin did. After the election when she went back to Alaska and her job, you blood-thirsty vultures still wouldn't leave her & family alone ... so in essence, you libs made her a millionaire... I call that poetic justice.......

I'm afraid that is rather putting the cart before the horse, since the overwhelming majority of liberals are blissfully oblivious to the fact that they ARE parasites and thieves.
