Why are they meaningless?

 

There is no reason to take a simple statement by a celebrity seriously. How does it affect you or me? It does not. The comments have meaning only if you want them to have meaning. By the way, if a person said, "White people are the most talented people in the world", I would also not care. Race is nothing but an illusion.

 

Comments like these started affecting me when I heard another black celebrity say "black people are the future". That was a few years ago and ever since I've noticed more and more black supremacy seeping into the mainstream with no resistance from white folks.

As I said, meaning, particularly in the context of race, is in the eyes of the beholder. I could care less as to the passing comments a celebrity of black or white skin makes with regards to their race. Those comments simply indicate that the person lacks an active understanding of the concept of race, which is nothing but an illusionary social construct. Henceforth, it is best to not hold comments such as Jamie Foxx's to have any meaning. Over time, they will quickly be recognized as illegitimate or fade into oblivion.
