If they take our guns, there will be no stopping them. We MUST win this battle. The alternative is UNTHINKABLE. If we lose our guns, they will roll out the rest of their agenda: Censorship of the media and internet under so-called "equal time" rules. Property confiscation and redistribution to core Democrat constitutiencies. Hostile takeover of 401(k) pensions. Drone patrols over American cities to identify "enemies of the state." "Hate speech" laws that will be used to silent anyone critical of the government. Brainwashing of children in school through federally mandated cirriculum. This has already started. A purging of all Christians and conservatives from the military and government. This has already started. More wars abroad to distract us from loss of freedom at home, i.e. North Korea. This has already started.
I'm thinking that you are delusional. Maybe if some people put as much time into their personal lives as they do making posts, their lives would be much more fulfilling. However, I think that most people that think that the sky is falling hate their life. JMO Chris
I do not believe there is a chance the right will be lost, not because the left does not want to grab guns but because Americans will simply not obey. It would make prohibition look like a church social. Unless the Feds are willing to go door to door and dig up yards and gardens, nothing they pass will have any effect at all except to anger Americans and force millions to disobey the law until the Courts or the people can kill the scheme. Look how messy the ObamaCare scheme is...Sometimes the government can go so far beyond the will of the people that they are simply ignored.
These are also already started. There's minor difference, like the property forfeitures go to corporations via eminent domain abuse. (Although this is thanks to a liberal decision in Kelo vs. New London). But it's all basically happening. They are already building their "watch list" in order that they'll know the first doors to start kicking in. Virtually all information is being archived, requiring entire building size supercomputers to store it. And they are putting protestors, humanitarians, private journalists and activists on it.
This country is relatively young. Sometimes you have to let the young fall down and skin their knee in order to grow strong.

Okay if true more power to them the 2nd Amendment only covers weapons if tied to a militia what guns your allowed to have is left wide open, I would limit guns to no more than five round clip hunting rifles with single shot only and tasers for personal defense (multi-shot is fine). Everything else should be in the hands of the police and armed forces only and make possession a serious felony in most states of non-registered above weapons. It fits the Milita Acts demands as well for the unorganized militia they can use the approved rifle to kill invaders. Average people don't need handguns, shotguns and other weapons.
