I dont understand your comment. Beheading is a much quicker form of execution than electrification and is 100% reliable unlike carrying out execution by electric chair.

If they're going to be 6th century they shouldn't do it half arsed! In my view the death penalty isn't wrong per se but some of the reasons the saudis use it are wrong, like apostasy. So does it matter that they're beheaded or shot? I don't think so, both are death only that it's way cooler with swords. So I'm prefering swords actually.

True. Saudi Arabia gives their religion a bad name. Unfortunately many of the extremes have close ties with Saudi Arabia and not just because of Mecca. I'm in two minds about the death penalty in general becase a wrongly convicted person cannot be released. I feel that if it is going to be done the method should be quick. I'm definitely against hanging and electric chair.

Only barbaric societies tolerate the death penalty. Whether it's a shot or beheading, it's the same thing. The more "humane" methods are just to make society feel better about themselves, it doesn't make a difference to the person who is having their life taken.
