What makes me puzzled is this is one of the favorite sentiments mentioned by Righties, UNTIL they want help from FEMA, or MORE BILLIONS in farm subsidies, or INSTANT near-trillion dollar bailouts when their phony investments turn sour, or want military support when some poor group of locals in a 3rd world country get tired of an American companies destroying their ancestral farmlands and starts protesting for more than 10 cents a day in wages, or corn subsidies or sugar subsidies, or laws to protect their businesses from competition, or any of the dozens of other methods of government welfare for the comfortable well-to-do.
Most of America isnt thinking about it and/or doesnt have the proper information required to form a relevant opinion.

I interviewed Dalai Lama some years ago. Wise man. I've always maintained that an ever growing central government is a breeding ground for tyranny.
I dont know if tyranny is right around the corner or not but I do know that the last two presidents and congress have stepped on our rights plenty. We as a people need to realize what they are doing to us while distracting us with the partisan game they play. I dont care if you are Republican or Democrat, you cannot stand behind the actions of your party just because they are your party. Erosion of rights cannot continue.
