    Nineteen people are injured, with 12 being treated for gunshot wounds following a shootout in the 'second line' of a parade on Mother’s Day in New Orleans. The youngest victim in the surprise attack was a 10 year old, who was grazed by a stray bullet.

    Over 300 people were participating in the residential festival, on Frenchmen Street, in the east of the city, when several shots were fired. The incident occurred around 2pm local time (19:00 GMT) on Sunday.

    "We have mothers, sisters, little children who were shot," New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu told local press.

    Nine people were immediately taken to University Hospital by emergency responders, eight of whom had gunshot wounds, according to local channel WWLTV. One more being treated was injured in an attempt to escape from the shooting.

    Its what America's underclass does when they arent stuffing taxpayer funded watermelon and fried chicken down their throats.

    You are correct sir, not surprising in the least.

    These incidents remind me of something I would expect to hear coming out of third world countries.

    Has the shooter or shooters been identified as of the "underclass"?

    If you have 400-500 people.. families .. celebrating the traditional "mother's day parade" .. and a couple of crazy gunmen.. you condemn them all with racist remarks about government chicken and watermelon.

    Look in the mirror.

    It's a liiiiiii-i-iiiitle more complicated than that.

    The city has been traditionally mostly Black, but after Hurricane Katrina, there was speculation that the population might become mostly White. This led to New Orleans Mayor Nagin to give his (in)famous "Chocolate City Speech"

    Why are things so pitiful there? You have to look to the top. Essentially, the only think more screwed than race relations in New Orleans is Paris Hilton on a bender.

    MEANWHILE!

    I'm actually fairly confidant they'll catch this scum. Nowadays everyone has a cell phone, and you can be sure each participant is going thru their pictures at this very moment.

    The real disease, lol. You wouldn't know it if you had it, which you do.

    There are a few things I can tell to know when someone is definitely not arguing from sense. Some are

    1) Blaming minorities for the greater problems a country has where they are the poorest, least, powerful, and obviously least respected
    2) The equally dumb argument of blaming liberals/conservatives for everything wrong in the country (or most, if that's your argument)

    Because people can be polarized into upholding or defending ridiculous ideologies like these, politicians naturally follow suit and you get a country that becomes so focused on small, near-inconsequential problems that real problems fly right over their heads.

    Ignorance is the most punishing disease you can have. Blistering ignorance is just inexcusable.

    Yeah..

    Random stuff the occasional white person does is an interesting topic. No sarcasm there, i promise.

    Meanwhile, folks can look to other things, such as trends, statistics and math, among other things. It puts things into perspective.

    Not in the least bit surprising. What is suprising is that nobody was killed. Stuff like this seems to be happening on an almost daily basis - something needs to be done.

    Why do most if not all of our resident usual suspect’s and their clones soi PF’s once clean, objective and reasonable pages with numerous, nauseatingly consistent hypocritical comment? The latter also includes implied opinion such as the last sentence OT. Btw that one liner is a mild, even restrained example of usual anti-USA/firearm/conservative/Christian, etc fare. The OT author does seem to be moderating his opinions and such, so I thank him for that. Hmm’ my thanks are conditional ie~ if, and that is a big ‘if’ lol,…if the restraint is intentional. Restraint and civility from all contributing PF members would elevate PF’s standing among its peers. By peers I mean business peers and other’s with emotional, academic, spiritual, etc vested interests associated with the internet community which could enrich PF and I am all for that.

    Almost forgot, below I included an example as per on topic rules. Its one of many very many non-USA shooting. This particular news item is from a nation with an enforced rule of law, and with a much higher gun violence per-captia! Also contracting the liberally progressive gurus and other anti gun proponents mantras, this ‘example nation’ has much less per captia gun ownership ! AMAZING eh? No it’s an example of the real news without a anti-spin. God bless this forum & all members do not consider such a thing an insult, ie those that that fancy a blessing.

    post # 21 correction;

    First I misspelled per capita please forgive me lol, 2nd item needing correcting is this;

    "Also contracting the liberally progressive gurus and other anti gun proponents mantras, this ‘example nation’ has much less per captia gun ownership !

    should have read;

    "Also contradicting the liberally progressive gurus and other anti gun proponents mantras is the Philippians ‘example nation’ has much less per captia gun ownership !"

    Well said, spreading ignorance is nothing less than a crime for that reason, which is why in some countries its a crime to spread racist propaganda or denying the holocaust, these ppl want to take us back to the middle ages - its a crime against Humanity nothing less.

    I don't agree with your signature, lol. I don't deny the holocaust, but it's precisely that reason why Israel should not be acting the way it is towards...everyone around it. It's like they are abused kids who wind up, themselves, becoming abusive.

    Just my opinion, but I come close to utter contempt for Israel. Perhaps hypocrisy and evil concentrate, specifically because they hold themselves as a holy people. The contradiction is hideous.

    I'm sorry for that rant, but Israel bring out the bile in me. The state of Israel, not Jewish people....at least those who show some conscious towards what is happening there.
